Dear Readers, Very disappointing how this realtor operates in our eyes. We therefore have very serious doubts about the professional competence and reliability of this realtor. They will probably give their version of this as well, but that won't bother us. In any case, we want to let you know this. On 14-11-2019, a property came onto Funda that had to be sold through this realtor. After seeing this property, we immediately called the realtor that morning and expressed our serious interest. We also asked if there could be some reduction from the asking price and indicated what this property would be worth to us €. We stated that we were available for a viewing on the same day, Friday or Saturday (we wanted this as soon as possible due to the housing shortage in Enter). The appointment could not be made earlier, the realtor said, and we agreed to this because it simply wasn't possible. Subsequently, we were called on Monday morning and a lady indicated that the property had already been sold. With great astonishment, I asked how that was possible since we were the first to respond. The lady in question then transferred me to the realtor (Robert), who stated that the property had been sold to someone who hadn't seen the inside either. Of course, it is possible for someone to buy a property without seeing the inside, but even so, in our opinion, you must first keep your appointment with the people who approached you first for this property and also having verbally mentioned an amount. The realtor stated that this person had made a good offer and that we probably wouldn't do that. (very strange that a realtor makes such a statement.) Also, Robert indicated that the property was more or less not something for us given the condition it was in (another odd remark). We were certainly aware that the property needed a lot of maintenance, which was noted in the advertisement, and we saw it on the spot. But that is no problem for us given our construction background. My girlfriend subsequently called this realtor and spoke to a lady. Her excuse was that they were very sorry and that we should have made an offer because then we would have been in negotiation. Well, I can tell you that I already indicated what the property was worth to us from the first moment. However, this lady apparently didn't remember that. It is a great disappointment for us. And the new owner has luck Congratulations! Probably the house will be demolished and a new house will be built on it. If you treat potential customers in this way, of course, you can lose customers. I strongly feel like there’s some kind of cronyism at play and I wouldn't be surprised if a thick wallet also plays a role here. We leave it at that and look forward to the realtor's response.
