Excellent assistance during the sale of our house

Bad experience with Kolmeijer Makelaars We entered into an agreement with Kolmeijer Makelaars in November '24 for the sale of our house, after a pleasant conversation with one of their employees. This employee gave us the impression that he himself, together with a colleague as backup, would handle the viewings. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a one-time meeting, and since then we have never seen him again and barely heard from him. The viewings were conducted by another employee, who unfortunately lacked enthusiasm and professionalism. He had already ‘seen everything’ and seemed unwilling to make an effort to present our property well. This was not only disappointing but also truly unprofessional. In addition, the contact with us, which Kolmeijer talked so much about in the preliminary conversations, was very poorly maintained. The promised active communication via the WhatsApp group left a lot to be desired. We always had to chase everything ourselves, which was not only frustrating but also showed a lack of involvement on their part. Another major drawback was that we had made arrangements for sending information about the bidding procedure after the viewings. This information did not arrive until much later because Kolmeijer had forgotten to send the email. Trust had already diminished, but the broker first blamed the system and only later offered a small apology. All of this happened at a time when we felt that the momentum of the viewings was lost. Ultimately, we received only one offer, which was far from the result we had hoped for. We decided to terminate our collaboration with Kolmeijer. Trust was completely gone. Fortunately, another broker came into the picture, where we were wonderfully helped. They not only made much more effort to treat us as valued customers but also secured a bid 50k higher than what Kolmeijer had delivered. The difference in service and result is therefore clear and shows how many mistakes Kolmeijer has made. All in all, we strongly advise against Kolmeijer Makelaars. Their unprofessional attitude and poor communication were reason for us to terminate the collaboration. Our experience was downright disappointing. Don't rely on their promises, because their promises turn out to be empty promises one by one.

They do not honor their appointments and promises. The first conversation was positive, which initially led us to choose them as a sales broker. However, if I were to do it again, I would certainly not choose Kolmeijer. They are too busy, resulting in little to no attention for you. Questions via the app are not answered, or only after several days, while during the first conversation they indicated being very adequate in this regard. The introductory meeting was conducted by Rolf, who said he would take the lead and arrange most viewings, in consultation with us. In practice, however, you always have to deal with different people from the office, which is impersonal on the one hand and results in a lack of substantive knowledge, something we experienced as unpleasant. If I were allowed to do it again, I certainly would not enter into an agreement with Kolmeijer.

Don't go into the sea!! I have exactly the same experience as recent reviews from Christine and MR. (I also notice that the better reviews are mostly from years ago). They lure you in with a nice story and competitive commission, and then do nothing more. I have sold three houses in the last 5 years, each time with a different real estate agent. Kolmeijer is clearly the worst of those. I was so stupid to choose them for the lowest commission and sweet talk. I deeply regretted that afterwards. I also called owner Rolf to evaluate things. His first reaction was that he couldn't do anything about my complaints because he wasn't present himself. Then, a minute later, he says what I say is not true (while he wasn’t present). Very unreliable! They are therefore not open to improvement either. It started with the Funda text which was incorrect, and I myself rewrote it. Subsequently, communication was difficult, and I had to request calls instead of receiving an app message once a week. Appointments for measurement were scheduled by me. The eventual buyer didn't even see the real estate agent (really!!). I did the two viewings myself with her. They negotiated something over the phone and that’s all. Real estate agents are different, and there is always something to criticize somewhere. However, this one is far the worst, and unreliable.

Not recommended as a sales broker - impersonal, not involved, no passion for selling houses or affinity for contact with people, I had to insist on walking through my house together once where any interest in what I wanted was completely lacking - flawed and unprofessional communication, they make many mistakes in this, are not open to suggestions or feedback - do not keep promises (e.g., speed of sale), quality price ratio is completely out of proportion (you pay 12,000 euros for the sale and they don't have 30 seconds to send a text message after viewings about how it went because they are too busy according to them) - the above was repeatedly indicated and discussed, but mostly in person and by phone: this means there is no proof of my dissatisfaction and therefore 'it does not exist' for them and they do nothing with it, despite the fact that I did have 2 emails and 1 text message clearly stating that I had lost confidence

For trips, all appointments must be arranged independently. Accessibility was poor, had to chase everything myself, no or poor feedback after viewings. A number of examples: - House keys lost prior to the viewing. - Styling package purchased, not delivered. - Viewing report addressed to someone other than me. - Value of the property before the sale estimated many times higher than the actual value. I would like to share my experience with this real estate agency so that people have more insight into how things are done in practice. Unfortunately, I do not want to recommend this office further because they do not work professionally at all. What happened to me: two weeks ago I made an appointment to view a property. After 2 weeks, I was informed only 2 hours before the viewing that the property had recently been sold and that the planned viewing could not take place. Why schedule viewings at all if you don't wait for all scheduled viewings and give the house seeker the confidence that they will get the chance to actually see the property during a scheduled viewing. But no, this office’s practice is very different. You cannot rely on a scheduled appointment going ahead; it can happen that the appointment is cancelled 2 hours in advance..nevertheless, it turns out that Kolmeijer does not have a professional way of working.
