Yesterday I was informed that the planned purchase of a new-build apartment on Pastoor Zegersstraat will not go ahead for me. The reason, as far as I can assess, lies outside the fault of the real estate agent. Throughout the purchasing process, questions about the difficult contracts relating to ownership, leasehold, apartment rights and building contract remained unanswered. Making an appointment to discuss this in person at the office was also not possible. According to the real estate agent, the reason I cannot buy the apartment is that the developer did not appreciate me directly contacting the ground lessor with a question he didn't want to answer. I believe that when making purchases involving so much money, you should at least check what the consequences of certain conditions in the contract are. The ground lessor was, incidentally, very cooperative and accommodating. Resolving my objection was no problem for them. My conclusion: The developer simply finds it too difficult, and the real estate agent only acts on behalf of the seller and has no regard for the interests of the buyer.

When I call, it is incredibly busy and it can take longer than the stated 3 working days before I receive a message. However, unfortunately after 2.5 weeks, still no message.. Now I am calling again and the viewings have already passed, once again without a message… Very sloppy and frustrating!

We were also interested in the investment property Daalseweg in Nijmegen, unfortunately called three times and we were supposed to receive a call back. That simply didn't happen. And that for 3 weeks now. Now I suddenly read that the property is under offer. So bad for the seller if they don't give other interested parties a chance.

We were interested in an investment property at Daalseweg 328-330 in Nijmegen. The real estate agency does not act in the seller's interests with regard to this property. Called to arrange a viewing. Answer: not possible and there is even already a waiting list, but that one is full too. Briefly 'it wouldn’t have been worth making my interest known'. I can understand that at a certain point the agenda is full, but it came as a surprise that I was also not allowed to make an offer without a viewing. They would not process these. While every real estate agent is obliged to discuss all bids with the selling party. As an investor, I don't necessarily need a viewing either; obtaining the corresponding documentation and data is sufficient to make an offer. However, in case we just leave the whole story now, but if we talk about the seller’s interests.. something goes wrong here.

What an awkward experience with the company appraisers of S-T Nijmegen. Because the assignment is formally given through the bank (a requirement for a business appraisal to guarantee independence), I, as the client, do receive an invoice but no appraisal report. According to them, this is only provided to the bank because I am not the client. I have never experienced anything like this :-) Only after closing with the notary and refusing to pay the invoice (because I am supposedly not the client and also haven't received a product) do I finally receive the appraisal report as an afterthought. Again, strange course of events.

Good overview of properties for sale! A pity there's little choice at the moment. Hope it gets better towards the end of the year.

Terrible landlord. Negligent in maintenance (the main door doesn't close properly, drainpipes hanging from the bottom of the balconies due to poor drainage), bad communication and fails to keep appointments. There is now yet another leak that will take them 3 days to fix. I can’t use the toilet or shower from 09:00 to 17:00. I (and the rest of the complex) simply cannot use the sewage system. In the letter, they didn't even offer any apologies for the inconvenience. Customer service is a joke, but meanwhile, they increase the rent by the maximum amount every year. Awful company

From now on I will no longer do business with Strijbosch Thunnisen, especially if you want to sell your house; they simply won't call you back and don't take it seriously. A shame.

Very bad company. The front door of our complex has been broken for weeks, the back door doesn't lock properly. Water is turned off without warning for maintenance (multiple hours) and they don't respond to questions or requests or barely respond at all. Worthless
