It was the sale of a house in a shifting market, where the house was put on the market at twice the price it should have been. As a result, bids were most likely withheld, despite a considerable number of enthusiastic visitors. The house was sold well below (the reduced) asking price, and the realtor did not want to give the requested (sale or otherwise) advice, which was necessary due to the divorce.
