Serious interest in a house. Applied through registration. Sent a neat email with bid and conditions. After not hearing anything for half a day, I called out of concern. 'Yes, your email has arrived.' When I pointed out that it would have been nice to receive confirmation, I didn't get an apology but a snap: 'You should have asked for a read receipt.' Extremely rude, and another typical example of the real estate world: Crisis over, customer friendliness nowhere to be found.
