real estate agent with unethical practices. We made an offer on a house that this broker offered. After this bid was verbally accepted, we waited 3.5 weeks for the draft purchase agreement. And after the 3.5 weeks, we received an email at half past AM that there was suddenly a new buyer who had bid higher than us. Very disappointing that you can work like this

Beste Julian, We begrijpen heel goed hoe teleurstellend deze situatie voor jullie moet zijn en vinden het oprecht jammer dat het zo is gelopen. Dit is absoluut niet het nieuws dat we voor ogen hadden toen we samen aan dit traject begonnen. Als makelaar hebben we de verantwoordelijkheid om alle biedingen met de verkoper te bespreken. In dit geval heeft de verkoper, nadat alle voorbereidingen waren getroffen, gekozen voor een hoger bod van een andere koper. Deze beslissing lag volledig bij de verkoper, en ook al hadden wij graag anders gehandeld, restte ons niets anders dan die wens te respecteren. We beseffen dat de timing, midden in de feestdagen, niet ideaal was. Ondanks dat zowel wij als veel andere partijen deels vrij waren, hebben we ons uiterste best gedaan om jullie via e-mail en WhatsApp continu op de hoogte te houden, zelfs tijdens kerst. We wilden er zeker van zijn dat jullie goed geïnformeerd waren gedurende het hele proces. Het raakt ons dat jullie zo'n negatieve review hebben achtergelaten, want wij streven ernaar altijd transparant en betrokken te communiceren. We hopen dat jullie kunnen inzien dat we met de grootste inzet hebben gewerkt, ook al verliep dit in een uitkomst die we samen liever anders hadden gezien.
