Een mondeling akkoord betekend blijkbaar niks bij deze makelaar en ze gaan gewoon door met bezichtigingen en verkopen de woning die wij als ons huis aan het beschouwen waren onder onze neus verkocht… Erg bedankt! Voor niks! Ga echt niet in zee met deze makelaar. Overigens wist de makelaar tijdens onze bezichtiging ook niks te vertellen over het huis en kon hij niet antwoorden op onze vragen. We recently viewed a property through this real estate agency and made an offer. Unfortunately, we experienced the entire process as unprofessional, unreliable, and not transparent. During the viewing, hardly any information was provided, except when we ourselves asked questions. Also, statements were made such as “just have confidence in it” and “it looks positive”, which created expectations that were not met. Furthermore, it turned out much later that it was a business property. Information that, in our opinion, should have been available from the beginning. The communication was messy: appointments to call back were not kept, documents were shared way too late, and we were constantly put on hold. All in all, we experienced the process as particularly disappointing and strongly advise against this real estate agency.

What good service this real estate agency provides. In my search for a house, I approached them to brainstorm and advise on the purchase. I received an expert and especially friendly approach right away! I felt like a customer again instead of a number (as I have experienced with many real estate agents during my home search). Fortunately, there is still a realtor who, even in this overheated market, puts the customer first and (not entirely unimportant) their commitment leads to a good result.

As a potential buyer, I was very dissatisfied with the real estate agent. It turned out that he acted too unreliable and unprofessional for me to want to enter into a deal with him. It's perfectly fine (a shame) when a deal doesn't work out because the interests are too far apart, but here it went wrong differently. Possibly the specific seller also plays a role in this, but the real estate agent is obliged to act fairly, transparently and respectfully (NVM code of conduct) and that is not how we experienced it. 1. Unreasonable objection clauses (asbestos, as-is, where-is, age, non-self-occupancy and more) which are written in such a way that several experienced purchasing agents, advisors and lawyers stated that they had never seen this before and strongly advised me NOT to sign, no matter how beautiful the property/deal may seem. Example: 'Death after purchase and before the delivery date or any other event personally affecting a party that would have caused them to refrain from the purchase, do not constitute a termination clause nor force majeure.' 2. After reaching an agreement on the price, my partner came in good faith from England to view the property, but she was denied access because she might not like the house. The seller thought that the deed of sale should be signed first, as I had ample opportunity to view the property (twice and a technical inspection where my partner could not attend due to her work and living in England). 3. The central heating boiler was advertised with a construction year of 2021, but during the technical inspection it turned out that the boiler had a construction year of 2007. When reporting this to the real estate agent, the answer was that the seller would not have known either and that it changes nothing about the deal. This has not been corrected in brochures/funda since then. 4. Repeatedly missing deadlines with regard to delivering the deed of sale and a real estate agent who on his own accord makes changes to the deed of sale without the agreement of the seller and sends them to me as the buyer.
