David, the owner, runs this agency to find tenants for his own property. He does not respect the privacy of the tenants, is disrespectful and only returned the deposit after receiving a letter from my lawyer. I would stay away from this agency.

Zeer snel een huis gevonden. Ik kwam uit het buitenland en was al maanden op zoek naar iets, maar City Rental heeft me eindelijk geholpen. Zeker een aanrader, zeer betrouwbaar.

Ik heb een geweldige ervaring gehad met City Rental. Ze waren professioneel, deskundig en luisterden echt naar mijn wensen. Ze lieten me meerdere appartementen zien en met hun hulp vond ik het perfecte appartement. Ze begeleidden me door elke stap van het proces, van begin tot eind. Ik ben erg tevreden over de service en kan ze van harte aanbevelen!

In addition, you must thoroughly inspect the property to see if everything is correct or working because once you are there, you are seriously screwed! For example: due to lack of ventilation, mold appears, and there was also too little heating in the property, making it extra cold in winter. Finally, read your contract carefully before signing because the LAW is followed according to the book but still the agreements are not met. My contract was suddenly terminated 6 weeks before renewal because the building was allegedly sold while new viewings already took place during my move. More than 6 weeks later, there has been no refund of the deposit or email received. Advice: DO NOT GO INTO BUSINESS WITH CITY RENTAL!

What a terrible company. They simply don't answer the phone. Don't communicate at all and don't abide by the rules.

For months I was unsuccessfully looking for an apartment and visited viewings, before I eventually engaged the services of City Rental. I placed my search request online via their website and a few days later I received a message with photos and videos of an apartment that met my wishes and budget. Within 48 hours they arranged a physical viewing and I signed the contract. It's not exactly a real estate agent, because they only mediate between landlords and potential tenants, but they do inspect the property and hand over the keys. Emy is very friendly and helped me enormously with making the appointment for registration. Overall, I have had a good experience with their services.

This landlord (David) rents to foreign students who are not familiar with Dutch law. He abuses this situation to subject them to his own rules. Furthermore, do not expect technical support in case of problems, as he avoids his responsibilities. On the other hand, he can be disrespectful if you, for example, insist on a repair. Finally, do not wait until you receive your full deposit back. He waits until the student returns to their country to return only part of it. He knows that the student has no possibility to complain. SHAME to abuse young people. SHAME

Worst mediation agency ever. They do not comply with Dutch legislation (for example, the maximum number of people per house). They don't respond quickly when you have a problem and are disrespectful towards tenants. Even though there is a housing crisis in the Netherlands, please choose another mediation agency to find your home! Do not enter into an agreement with someone named David. He is a scammer.

Ze verhuren appartementen die beheerd worden door oplichters. Pas op voor makelaars. De eigenaren betalen geen voorschotten op rekeningen. Wees vooral voorzichtig met het appartement aan de Strevelsweg, beheerd door eigenaar David, een uitzonderlijke oplichter. Ik betaalde 2400 euro voor een jaar aan rekeningen, 200 euro per maand. Ik heb in werkelijkheid 1700 euro aan nutsvoorzieningen verbruikt. Hij heeft me de 700 euro niet terugbetaald en wil de rekeningen niet sturen. Denk twee keer na als je geen geld wilt verliezen.

Zeer goede service. Ze zijn erg professioneel en vriendelijk. Ik zou hun diensten zeker aanbevelen bij het zoeken naar een nieuw huis.

They want to make money at all costs and offer unhygienic houses for rent, which are very dangerous for people's health. Even the photos of the houses are misleading. Be careful, you risk being left on the street and your money getting stuck in appalling houses where even homeless people would never be able to live.

The worst rental company!!! No respect for tenants. They rent out houses full of cockroaches and mice. They may seem friendly and careful until you pay, but after that, if you have problems, they just ignore you.

Echt een goede ervaring met deze makelaar. Hij legde alles goed uit en hielp me snel aan een huis, inclusief alle benodigde voorzieningen zoals water, elektriciteit, etc. Ik zou hem zeker aanbevelen!

Als expat kunt u erop vertrouwen dat zij een geschikte huurwoning voor u vinden. Voordelen: Lage huur Nadelen: Zoals ik persoonlijk aanraad, dient de borg binnen 15 dagen na vertrek van de huurder te worden terugbetaald. Vooral wanneer de huurder de woning in goede staat heeft gehouden en de huur netjes en op tijd heeft betaald, zonder aanmaningen.
