David, the owner, runs this agency to find tenants for his own property. He does not respect the privacy of the tenants, is disrespectful and only returned the deposit after receiving a letter from my lawyer. I would stay away from this agency.

Try reaching them and then you'll understand the review... I've called them 10 times at various different times and every time I get the message 'please state your name and phone number and we will call you back as soon as possible', it's crazy that I haven't heard anything after 2 weeks...

A MONEY-ORIENTED company this is!!! If you have decided to cancel at the last moment, they will still suppress you to pay for the so-called work that they have performed in the meantime. In addition, you must thoroughly inspect the property to see if everything is correct or working because once you are there, you are seriously screwed! For example: due to lack of ventilation, mold appears, and there was also too little heating in the property, making it extra cold in winter. Finally, read your contract carefully before signing because the LAW is followed according to the book but still the agreements are not met. My contract was suddenly terminated 6 weeks before renewal because the building was allegedly sold while new viewings already took place during my move. More than 6 weeks later, there has been no refund of the deposit or email received. Advice: DO NOT GO INTO BUSINESS WITH CITY RENTAL!

Within 48 hours they arranged a physical viewing and I signed the contract. It's not exactly a real estate agent, because they only mediate between landlords and potential tenants, but they do inspect the property and hand over the keys. Emy is very friendly and helped me enormously with making the appointment for registration. Overall, I have had a good experience with their services.

This landlord (David) rents to foreign students who are not familiar with Dutch law. He abuses this situation to subject them to his own rules. Furthermore, do not expect technical support in case of problems, as he avoids his responsibilities. On the other hand, he can be disrespectful if you, for example, insist on a repair. Finally, do not wait until you receive your full deposit back. He waits until the student returns to their country to return only part of it. He knows that the student has no possibility to complain. They don't respond quickly when you have a problem and are disrespectful towards tenants.
