The contact with the real estate agent went very smoothly, as did the email correspondence. Also easy to reach by phone. Very bad experience with HouseHunting – never again! Our experience with HouseHunting was truly disappointing. During the rental period, we encountered all sorts of problems in the property, but help or solutions? They simply didn't come. A few examples: The central heating boiler didn’t work for three months – in winter! The balcony was unsafe and probably illegal. We had significant leaks, damp patches and mold, especially in the bathroom. The walls were partly rotten. Several times we asked for help via their portal, but nothing was ever done about it. We experienced a lot of stress at that time, had to incur extra costs and simply lived very badly. And then the end of the rental: we have been gone for some time now, but we still haven’t heard anything about the refund of our deposit and advance payment for gas/water/electricity. Apparently the final inspection is ‘not yet available’. Seriously? During that final inspection, it was even suggested that we might be responsible for a damaged window frame and cleaning costs. Really ridiculous, especially considering how bad the house was in general. We hope this isn’t serious, because that would really be the last straw. All in all: we are enormously dissatisfied and advise everyone not to enter into an agreement with HouseHunting. Poor communication, no service, and zero responsibility.

Recently rented a house in Breda via HouseHunting. We can only be positive. We were initially hesitant to pay for the premium features. But, there's no lie to the benefits. You receive an email immediately when a new listing matches your search profile. You can then respond and quickly receive a second email with the option to schedule a viewing. Of course, you must be available on that date, but that is unfortunately the craziness of the current housing market. As soon as we had the viewing, we were able to easily upload all our documents via a system. HouseHunting also responded immediately to any uncertainties. Ultimately, a very pleasant experience and helpful employees. Some negative reviews I read here do not at all correspond with our experience. The current housing market is simply chaos, but HouseHunting does everything within their power to help and be available when needed.

Poor communication. Initially, HouseHunting seems like a nice company to find a home, but quickly things start to appear that are downright worthless. After visiting a viewing and responding to several homes, it is promised that a decision will be made very quickly as to who can live where. Weeks later, after contacting them ourselves, it turns out that all the homes have already been given away without any form of notification. The reason given is that 'something went wrong' and that all the homes were awarded to home seekers who earn more but who were not present at the viewing. Our contact details are known to HouseHunting, because previously there has already been communication via email and telephone. It is therefore very striking that nothing was passed on. This experience makes it clear that reliability and transparency are lacking at HouseHunting.

De service van deze aanhuurmakelaar is helaas beneden alle peil. Hoewel er een volledige maandhuur als provisie in rekening wordt gebracht, vindt er geen actieve bemiddeling plaats. In plaats van een passend aanbod toegestuurd te krijgen, moet je als klant dagelijks zelf contact opnemen zodra er iets op social media verschijnt. De reactie van de makelaar zie zegt er amper iets aan te verdienen is ronduit stuitend; een maandhuur incasseren voor een enkel telefoontje naar een ingeschreven zoeker is immers een forse beloning voor minimale inspanning.

Nou ik ben juist zeer tevreden,met hun , had in t verleden een studio kunnen huren ,voor t bedrag wat ik aangaf ,die ik maandelijks kon betalen. Had daar lang gewoond. Met liefde & plezier 🥰 Ze hebben me super geholpen, En hadden me gemaild & gebeld , dat er iets voor mij bij zat . Hielden me fijn op de hoogte , proffesionele aanpak & zeer attent Had kunnen kiezen uit 3 Studio's , in t centrum, buiten de centrum en omgeving. Vandaar dat ik me weer aanmeld. Friendly and helpful.

Ik had geen idee dat dit bedrijf zo slecht was tot ik me had ingeschreven. Een oude vrouw aan de telefoon praat met een zeer onvriendelijke toon en discrimineert. De ene keer word er snel gereageerd of emails de andere keer helemaal niet. Communicatie is erg inconsistent. Sommige bezichtigingen voelde erg onprofessioneel, ik was even de vorige bewoner wat vragen aan het stellen en de mevrouw van de bezichtiging zei dat ik dat wel later kan bespreken (het was niet echt netjes gevraagd en klonk niet vriendelijk). Ik heb ook gehad dat ik een appartement heb bekeken waar overal peukjes op de grond ligt en er werd gezegd dat er niet gerookt is en dat het ook niet mag (soms vraag ik iets aan de persoon van de bezichtiging en blijkbaar weten ze niet altijd alle details). Ik heb meerdere appartementen bekeken en sommige waren gewoon niet ok. Voor de prijs die je betaalt en wat je krijgt is gewoon absurt, vooral hoeveel je bij betaalt aan kosten aan dit bedrijf. Ongelofelijk dat ze moeite doen om zulke appartementen te verhuren aan studenten. De meeste mensen die wel wat hebben gevonden en waar alles goed ging hadden geluk. Mensen die buitenlands zijn (net als ik) hebben een grote kans dat ze meer moeite gaan hebben om iets te vinden of helemaal niets. Geen geld en tijd uitgeven aan dit onprofessioneel bedrijf.

Geen betaald profiel aanmaken! Grote praatjes maar komen beloftes niet na. Aan de telefoon wordt gedaan alsof en wekelijks genoeg nieuw aanbod beschikbaar komt voor jouw voorkeuren. Dit blijkt niet zo te zijn. Om je toch een beetje nieuwsgierig te houden sturen ze af en toe een mailtje met een woning die helemaal niet voldoet aan je opgegeven eisen.

We hebben via StadHuisBreda ons eerste appartement gevonden. Mede dankzij de persoonlijke aanpak en snelle response verliep alles heel soepel.

Ik was op zoek naar een woning in Breda en na 3 maanden en een paar bezichtigingen heb ik er eindelijk een gevonden :) Ik ben super blij, ze zijn zo vriendelijk en professioneel! Ik beveel dit makelaarskantoor van harte aan!

Uitstekende verhuurmakelaar, zeer vriendelijk personeel die echt hun best doen om mee te denken.
