I had only been registered for a few months. Now, as of 1 November, I have already been assigned a beautiful apartment of my own. The contact with the real estate agent went very smoothly, as did the email correspondence. Also easy to reach by phone. Definitely a recommendation if you're looking for something and don't want to have to wait years. I'm very happy that I managed to get it this way. A happy woman 💖 Chantal van Vreeswijk
Thanks to HouseHunting Breda I have finally found a super nice apartment. Chloë and Denise have helped me fantastically and are very involved.
My girlfriend and I had been looking for a rental property for quite some time. Once we got in contact with househunting, everything went incredibly smoothly. Always friendly and helpful. Very bad experience with HouseHunting – never again! Our experience with HouseHunting was truly disappointing. During the rental period, we encountered all sorts of problems in the property, but help or solutions? They simply didn't come. A few examples: The central heating boiler didn’t work for three months – in winter! The balcony was unsafe and probably illegal. We had significant leaks, damp patches and mold, especially in the bathroom. The walls were partly rotten. Several times we asked for help via their portal, but nothing was ever done about it. We experienced a lot of stress at that time, had to incur extra costs and simply lived very badly. And then the end of the rental: we have been gone for some time now, but we still haven’t heard anything about the refund of our deposit and advance payment for gas/water/electricity. Apparently the final inspection is ‘not yet available’. Seriously? During that final inspection, it was even suggested that we might be responsible for a damaged window frame and cleaning costs. Really ridiculous, especially considering how bad the house was in general. We hope this isn’t serious, because that would really be the last straw. All in all: we are enormously dissatisfied and advise everyone not to enter into an agreement with HouseHunting. Poor communication, no service, and zero responsibility.

Great experience at HouseHunting. I was looking for a room and with Chloe's really good help, it succeeded in less than three weeks :) Very friendly people who truly commit to you!
Recently rented a house in Breda via HouseHunting. We can only be positive. We were initially hesitant to pay for the premium features. But, there's no lie to the benefits. You receive an email immediately when a new listing matches your search profile. You can then respond and quickly receive a second email with the option to schedule a viewing. Of course, you must be available on that date, but that is unfortunately the craziness of the current housing market. As soon as we had the viewing, we were able to easily upload all our documents via a system. HouseHunting also responded immediately to any uncertainties. Ultimately, a very pleasant experience and helpful employees. Some negative reviews I read here do not at all correspond with our experience. The current housing market is simply chaos, but HouseHunting does everything within their power to help and be available when needed.

Poor communication. Initially, HouseHunting seems like a nice company to find a home, but quickly things start to appear that are downright worthless. After visiting a viewing and responding to several homes, it is promised that a decision will be made very quickly as to who can live where. Weeks later, after contacting them ourselves, it turns out that all the homes have already been given away without any form of notification. The reason given is that 'something went wrong' and that all the homes were awarded to home seekers who earn more but who were not present at the viewing. Our contact details are known to HouseHunting, because previously there has already been communication via email and telephone. It is therefore very striking that nothing was passed on. This experience makes it clear that reliability and transparency are lacking at HouseHunting.
We vinden het vervelend om te horen dat jullie het zo hebben ervaren. Tijdens ons telefoongesprek hebben we uitgelegd en aangegeven dat er inderdaad iets mis is gegaan bij het geven van een update. Ook hebben we aangegeven dit intern te zullen gaan nakijken en willen we daarvoor nogmaals onze excuses aanbieden. Voor wat betreft jullie statement over andere kandidaten en de manier van toewijzen: Dit is niet aan de orde en onjuist. Only positive experiences with this real estate agency. It took just two weeks to find an apartment through them! All communication went through Denise, a very energetic and friendly real estate agent. A true recommendation.

Received a home assignment within 2 weeks with my girlfriend after purchasing a premium account. Had very pleasant contact with Denise and she helped us well with questions we still had. Definitely recommended!
Unfortunately, a series of bad experiences with Househunting. Since I've lived here, there have been multiple break-ins into the mailboxes at our building to steal packages. This is because they are accessible from the outside. No measures were ever taken against this, only replacing the lock. This time it was my turn and I lost a package worth 150 euros. This has not been compensated in any way. It could have been prevented if Househunting had taken measures. Furthermore, we as tenants still receive the annual statement with the contribution for the main connection. This should have been sent by July 1st at the latest but is still not settled, not even with the rent for October. Despite multiple emails and phone calls from different landlords. Very difficult contact. One of the few things that works like clockwork is the monthly rent.
Chloë helped me perfectly with finding my first studio. The contact was pleasant and often very fast. During my move, my extractor hood had come off the wall. After I reported this to HouseHunting, action was taken immediately and a technician was arranged who rehung everything. All in all, a pleasant experience!

Rented for almost 3 years through HouseHunting Breda and always had a pleasant contact. I always received quick answers when something was unclear or if something needed to be repaired.
We have always felt heard by HouseHunting. The portal for submitting repairs works well and is clear. 100% recommended.
I recently moved to Breda through HouseHunting. I found this incredibly pleasant. I could go to them with all my questions and received quick answers consistently. Furthermore, they are also very friendly, genuinely involved, and helpful. Basically everything went smoothly and I can't think of anything I would have preferred differently. A friend of mine had an appointment to view an apartment, but no one was there. The office in Breda didn't answer the phone (tried from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM), work number 06 was turned off after some time (from at least 3:00 PM). I even drove to the office. It was dark and deserted there. If you see it this way, they can't be anything but scammers. Really a shame. My friend was so happy that she had finally found something. You gave her false hope.
Dank voor je review, wat vervelend dat je dit zo ervaart. We hebben gekeken in ons systeem, maar gisteren stonden er geen bezichtigingen ingepland. Ook hebben we geen gemiste e-mailberichten of voicemails van personen die bij een bezichtiging zouden staan te wachten. We zijn regelmatig buiten de deur, dus het kan zijn dat je inderdaad niemand aantrof bij ons op kantoor. Graag willen we je vragen om contact met ons op te nemen via breda@househunting.nl zodat we kunnen kijken waar dit mis ging; mogelijk dat de afspraak met een andere vestiging of makelaarskantoor was.
Wat een belachelijke en zorgwekkende service! Ik woonde in een van hun panden naast vreselijke buren die in de gangen rookten en de hele nacht schreeuwend en cocaïne-schelden op mijn deur bonkten en menselijke uitwerpselen op de badkamervloer achterlieten. Househunting raadde me aan een honkbalknuppel te kopen en de luidruchtige buren op hun achterhoofd te slaan als ze na 22:00 uur nog steeds lawaai maakten omdat ze dronken en roekeloos waren. Dat is echt walgelijk advies. Ik raad hun onbeschofte service en belachelijke prijzen voor hun waardeloze panden absoluut af. Zelfs de éénsterrenbeoordeling doet ze geen recht; ik zou ze nog lager beoordelen als dat mogelijk was.
Bedankt voor uw recensie. Het spijt ons dat u zo'n nare ervaring heeft gehad, met name met de buren. In dergelijke gevallen raden we altijd aan om ook contact op te nemen met de politie, omdat er helaas weinig andere mogelijkheden zijn om te helpen (behalve het opbouwen van een dossier). Als u nog steeds op deze locatie woont, blijf dan alstublieft problemen melden via uw online portaal. We kunnen niet geloven dat iemand u het advies heeft gegeven om een knuppel te kopen, maar stuur ons alstublieft een e-mail naar breda@househunting.nl met de informatie over uw huidige woonadres, zodat we dit ook intern kunnen controleren.
I have rented through HouseHunting Breda for just over a year and a half and have always been very satisfied, especially with how maintenance and communication were handled. If something broke (which happens in every home), there was quick and clear response. No endless email exchanges or weeks of waiting, but simply clear agreements and a fast solution. You don't see that often. Also at the end of the rental period everything went fairly and smoothly. Definitely a real estate agent who has her affairs well organized and has the best interests at heart for both tenant and landlord.
It's truly scandalous that the moment you call because the water is literally in the basement floor (bedroom) coming from the outside wall and nothing is being done about it with the excuse 'the technician is on vacation', while they are connected to the Dutch Maintenance Group & 'The groundwater level is currently high so that can happen', is simply grossly scandalous! The mold is growing even harder on the walls than it did before, and no one is coming to take a look. Our neighbors have withdrawn back into their parents' house out of despair because they experienced this even worse than we do, AND EVEN THEN 0 ACTIONS! You should be ashamed of yourselves as a company!
I can only tell you one thing. If you don't want to be ripped off, then do not enter into an agreement with this company.
I join the below reviews based primarily on communication. With a premium account, I have responded to about 20 to 30 advertisements and only been allowed to view once without being invited to others. I always registered neatly on time and with a brief explanation. What did I pay for a premium account if there is never a response sent to me? To be continued

Wow, that's the worst experience I've ever had. They falsely advertised the building and claimed there was a rooftop terrace. They don't respond to our requests, the building is never clean. There's an issue with the financial settlement. It's NOT a fair company.
Started writing without me knowing. I can't log in to see why and customer service hasn't responded 4 times yet. Retrieving login details from your mailbox doesn't work. But sending payment reminders does work. On their website, you are also very often redirected to another paid website. Decided after a bad review finally to respond somewhere for the first time since November 3rd.
already had an assurance that a small amount (200 euros) would be paid as compensation because the candidate unexpectedly withdrew without giving a reason. Other candidates had already been cancelled, causing the property to remain vacant for several weeks unnecessarily. Promised compensation was NEVER paid !! It all seems rather unreliable....
