I now live in an apartment I rent from the aforementioned company for 8 months. I am satisfied with the location, neighbors and surroundings in general. The entire rental process went smoothly and positively. Through a real estate agent who helped me with the documents and organization, I contacted the owner, which is no problem for me. I want to emphasize that as a tenant of the owner, I expect him to repair all defects, which is not always successfully resolved (hence why I deduct one star).

I bought a property through Pickée Makelaardij that was sold from an estate. Although I knew that this type of purchase brings extra risks, I at least expected the realtor to be willing to think along when there were direct defects upon handover, such as a leaking shower, which seriously hinders the normal use of the property. Unfortunately, Pickée was completely unwilling to do anything or even consider a reasonable solution, despite the defect becoming apparent immediately after handover. Everything was legally nitpicked, without any empathy or service. Especially disappointing because I bid significantly above the asking price. I understand that a realtor represents the seller, but this kind of hard stance towards the buyer (who is notably also a client in the process) says a lot about the mentality and customer orientation of this office. In short: are you a buyer with Pickée? Be warned. You're completely on your own.
