The strong point of this broker is that it's very easy to discuss a transaction like selling an apartment with him. Very friendly and calm, and no pressure in any particular direction. We also came to a good price both for us as sellers and - I think - also for the buyer. Furthermore, the broker has good support from the people at his office.

The contact went very pleasantly and correctly. We felt comfortable and were adequately helped with questions from our side. A good report was brought out of the progress.

Avoid doing business with Nijsingh Avies to prevent hassle! Steven Nijsingh states on his website that he provides legal advice but is also a real estate agent and is active as such, however, because he is not affiliated with the NVM or another professional association, you have nowhere to turn in case of a dispute. The negative review likely comes from another victimized client. The positive reviews come from his family and a construction company that Steven does business with, namely Wrotters. I also find the latter dubious, especially since Steven charges a commission for bringing in building assignments without the customer hearing or seeing it, let alone having insight into it on request (I also wonder if this is legally permitted). In short, my advice is to stay away from Steven Nijsingh.

Very disappointing experience with Hoekstra Makelaardij (Joure). After reaching an agreement on 25 April regarding the price and matters for takeover, all communication ceased. Appointments for inspection and appraisal were postponed, and the preliminary purchase agreement did not materialize due to vague excuses. On May 7th, it turned out that negotiations were being conducted with another party behind our backs. No transparency about anything happening, just a disrespectful rejection. We were knowingly used as a sledgehammer to achieve a higher price. Good for the seller but extremely unprofessional and unethical, and therefore a disgrace to the profession. At Hoekstra, buyers are pawns on the brokerage's chessboard. We will avoid houses from this realtor going forward.

Terrible how this party can show absolutely no compassion towards their customers. And they are too lazy to help their customers and look at the possibilities…. Then you try to make contact and sometimes have to wait 2 weeks for a response. Apart from that, the rented apartments are certainly good but very expensive compared to almost identical apartments in the area. The price is getting more and more expensive every time.

If it is indicated in advance that you must have a permanent contract to be able to rent. That saves a lot of time, money and disappointment. 'for your 10 others' unprofessional.

Very bad experience with this real estate agent in the purchase of new construction. The agent did not take us seriously and did not follow up on questions correctly or incompletely. For example, questions about adjusting a window to a door were not checked with the builder. We (and other buyers) were told that this was possible. Once at the builder, it turns out that this is not possible and that Hoekstra Real Estate also never checked this. False promises therefore.

Bought a house at the beginning of this year, but unfortunately we now have a leak. Called several times but they don't respond and then promise to help you, but that never happens!

From the very first introduction, I had a really good/familiar feeling and that remained until the completion of the sale. Compliments to Erwin.

Ideally, I just wanted them to have a rental property for me; where else would I go? It would be so lovely.
