22 Oct 2024Had three transactions with Ronald, 2 sales, 1 purchase. First sale, super and fast. Gave us a lot of confidence. Second sale was not optimal, poor start, little information provided, careless. Our purchase went downright badly, mediocre viewing, questionnaire not filled in truthfully, many (dubious) points. Ronald comes across as friendly and skilled, but his work often leaves much to be desired, and he tries to brush off problems with very simple tests. I therefore cannot judge otherwise, Ronald is a real estate agent with a huge (?)

20 May 2025Very disappointing experience with the sales procedure of Kalenberg Noord 30 in Ossenzijl. As one of the last two serious bidders, I unfortunately had to conclude that there is no equal treatment, transparency or professional handling at this office. My increased bid of €452,000 without a financing condition, submitted via email (as permitted in their own sales instructions), was only acknowledged after I had to repeatedly inquire. To date, no evidence has been provided that this bid was actually passed on to both sellers. Nor was a bid log provided, while the house has since been withdrawn from sale. In addition, I received incorrect information about the motives of the sellers (“the brother didn’t want to sell”), whereas later it turned out that the daughter – who was notably the client of the office and co-owner – had taken over her brother's share. This double role was never reported, which points to a serious conflict of interest. During the sales process, essential documents were missing, such as a complete floor plan and a completed questionnaire. This meant that there was no equal provision of information compared to other bidders, such as the daughter, brother and neighbors who also expressed interest. My request to make direct contact with the sellers (now that the office is no longer playing an active role) has been repeatedly refused, thereby blocking my remaining chance of purchase. This experience demonstrates a lack of due diligence, transparency and professional decency. A real estate agent should mediate objectively, not entangle interests and withhold information.

It's a shame you think you need to express your dissatisfaction in this way. But for the sake of clarity; 'your story' does not align with reality. Through our office, no sale was concluded because the seller ultimately did not want to sell the property. We received compliments from several other bidders, whom we also had to disappoint, regarding the correct and open communication about the unusual course of events concerning the offered property.

21 Dec 2024On Monday we bought a house, on Tuesday afternoon we called Marrit and she made sure that Jan came to our home on Wednesday. Due to the short lines at Hofstee, our house was already photographed for sale by Friday. After approval from our side regarding the photos, the video, and the accompanying text, our house was already placed on Funda for the following weekend. Having had multiple viewings in a week, we saw the bids on Monday. We are convinced that Jan's open and pleasant attitude during the viewings and Marrit's always alert and attentive attitude at the office ensured that we were able to sell our house to great satisfaction. Throughout the entire process, we were kept informed of developments: after the viewings, we were called to let us know how it had gone and what the expectations were. If we had a question, we could always contact Marrit and Jan, both by phone and email. We are very happy that we went with Hofstee and will recommend them to everyone who wants to sell their house.

30 Jun 2024Looking for a personal, expert real estate agent who ensures a smooth process? Look no further! De Linde Makelaar was the real estate agent of the selling party, not our own agent. But we haven't seen such a dramatically bad real estate agent before. And since we have bought houses several times, we’ve seen quite a bit. We experienced De Linde Makelaar as: - Impersonal: De Linde Makelaar was not present at the property viewing, nor at any other time (such as during the transfer of ownership or inspection). - Inaccurate: information on Funda was incorrect (deviating VVE costs); incorrect names were repeatedly listed in official documents; corrections were rarely implemented in one go. - Unreliable: response times and call appointments were not kept. - Unskilled: due to poor guidance of the selling party, we had to postpone the agreed-upon delivery by two weeks at the last moment. - Inflexible: De Linde acted very inflexibly during the period between the agreed transfer of ownership and the (delayed by them) delivery date. The result was a lot of frustration, annoyance, delay and extra costs. Out of sheer desperation, we contacted the sellers directly. They turned out to be, in contrast to the real estate agent, particularly accessible, flexible and cooperative. We now have a beautiful home. But in the process leading up to it, De Linde Makelaar caused us sleepless nights. We advise everyone who wants to buy or sell a property to go with another real estate agent. Or otherwise not take an agent.

19 Jun 2021When I called to schedule a viewing, I waited 20 min. on hold after which I was disconnected. I called again and waited another time. When I finally got through to them, I said that I had been waiting a long time and before I could finish my sentence, the lady, in a certain tone, said: “we are busy, the phone is glowing red.” I finished my sentence and said that the connection was dropped after 20 min. To which she replied, with a slightly sarcastic tone: “That’s annoying”. I asked if I could view the property and the answer was short: “No, that's not possible anymore”. And we hung up. I found the whole experience so unsettling, especially the tone, that I am taking the trouble to write a review about it.

The next day, our realtor was called again to hear that the house had suddenly been sold to someone else. Legally, it might be possible and permissible, but I don't consider it a proper way of doing business. A man is a man, a word is a word.

Where during viewings we often received explanations in five minutes and were then allowed to look around for another fifteen minutes, it feels truly personal with this agent.
