Looking for a personal, expert real estate agent who ensures a smooth process? Look no further! De Linde Makelaar was the real estate agent of the selling party, not our own agent. But we haven't seen such a dramatically bad real estate agent before. And since we have bought houses several times, we’ve seen quite a bit. We experienced De Linde Makelaar as: - Impersonal: De Linde Makelaar was not present at the property viewing, nor at any other time (such as during the transfer of ownership or inspection). - Inaccurate: information on Funda was incorrect (deviating VVE costs); incorrect names were repeatedly listed in official documents; corrections were rarely implemented in one go. - Unreliable: response times and call appointments were not kept. - Unskilled: due to poor guidance of the selling party, we had to postpone the agreed-upon delivery by two weeks at the last moment. - Inflexible: De Linde acted very inflexibly during the period between the agreed transfer of ownership and the (delayed by them) delivery date. The result was a lot of frustration, annoyance, delay and extra costs. Out of sheer desperation, we contacted the sellers directly. They turned out to be, in contrast to the real estate agent, particularly accessible, flexible and cooperative. We now have a beautiful home. But in the process leading up to it, De Linde Makelaar caused us sleepless nights. We advise everyone who wants to buy or sell a property to go with another real estate agent. Or otherwise not take an agent.
