Op de melding van de aanwezigheid van de Eternit platen werd indertijd vrij nonchalant gereageerd: meneer zat zelf in de bouwwereld en zag daar geen probleem in: als je er maar niet in gaat zagen. (NB. omdat de goten op ooghoogte zitten kun je de plaatjes zelfs zien liggen als je de goten schoonmaakt). Nu jullie de woning zelf na 10 jaar weer gingen verkopen, zou de aanwezigheid van Eternit platen van invloed kunnen zijn op de verkoopprijs. Dat jullie het fijn hadden gevonden dat wij als makelaar samen met de vorige eigenaar een financiële bijdrage zouden leveren aan het verwijderen van het Eternit begrijp ik, maar helaas konden en wilden we dat verzoek niet honoreren. Ieder huis heeft zijn eigen "gebruiksaanwijzing" en behoeft onderhoud. Een woning die eerder is bewoond is niet te vergelijken met een nieuwbouwwoning. Wij verzorgden vervolgens de verkoop van uw eigen woning. In dit geval hadden wij "uw pet" op en hebben wij er naar gestreefd uw belangen zo goed mogelijk te behartigen. De verkoop verliep volgens ons naar wens en u was hartstikke blij. De vraagprijs werd verkoopprijs en dat was de hoogste prijs die op dat moment bij u in de buurt is gerealiseerd! Het gevolg hiervan was dat we daarna nog wel tijd nodig hadden om de stukken compleet te krijgen voor het koopcontract. Er mogen geen onduidelijkheden meer zijn als tekent. Dit heb je helaas als onprofessioneel ervaren, terwijl het in feite niets anders was dan een gevolg van een kans die jullie werd geboden. Spijtig dat jullie je gevoel niet eerder zo met ons hebben gedeeld en dat de onvrede pas een maand later naar buiten komt nu je al in de woning woont. Voor ons weer een les dat de complexiteit van het proces, juist ook bij stille verkoop goed met de kopers moet worden gecommuniceerd en zeker bij starters op de woningmarkt.
