This could have been arranged with a standard document containing a short description with some milestones. Never do business with this broker! And if you go to view a house that Veenstra has for sale, be on your guard. What a disrespectful man Eize Veenstra is. We made an offer on a property. The next day I was called with the message that he could congratulate me, we had the highest bid! He told me that the sons of the sellers would still look at the leak in the skylight and that the whirlpool jets probably wouldn't work anymore because: 'the old ones hadn’t been in the bath for more than 10 years haha'. I was amazed by this disrespectful comment about his own clients but joy that we had the highest bid prevailed. Mr. Veenstra said that if we agreed that the whirlpool would no longer work, we had a deal. When I said that wasn't a problem because we were going to renovate the bathroom anyway, he fell silent. Then he said: 'oh wait... oh dear I see that I called the wrong person, you have the second highest bid.' When I then said that he couldn’t make this up his answer was: 'well you can get angry but hey it is what it is'. This man absolutely does not understand his profession. The way he talks about his own clients and doesn't even apologize for the incredibly stupid mistake he made by congratulating the wrong person, I find truly unprecedented! A warned person counts for 2...

Verkoop bij inschrijving kan complex zijn vanwege de grote belangstelling en meerdere biedingen, waarbij de verkoper uiteindelijk beslist aan wie de koop wordt gegund. Tijdens het proces heb ik per ongeluk uw telefoonnummer gebeld, terwijl u de tweede kandidaat was. Dit ontdekte ik tijdens ons gesprek en heb ik u direct laten weten dat ik een fout had gemaakt. In plaats van de persoon aan wie de verkoper de woning had gegund, had ik u aan de lijn. Ik begrijp hoe graag u de woning had willen kopen en ik had u de woning ook graag gegund, maar ik kon dit niet aanpassen. Wat betreft de overige punten die u heeft genoemd, herken ik me hier niet in. After a strange initial contact moment with the broker, where he indicated that the bank couldn't finance it and how I envisioned that, I continued calculating and got the money together. After making an offer, we heard again that the bank couldn’t finance it for us, so in other words, I felt like, what are you supposed to do? You can’t get it done. Mr. Veenstra doesn't know me, let alone my financial background, so a bit of a strange comment. After the offer, we received confirmation of the offer. Okay, so you expect further notification as to whether it aligns with the seller’s requirements. After a week, I called again myself and unfortunately heard that it had already been sold. Unfortunately, I thought, but I still heard that it was strange that I hadn't received any notification. Afterwards, I received an email which showed that we were indeed in the running and that we had also received an email to make a counteroffer, however this email was never received by us. We therefore never got the chance to do anything with it. It seems that if you place a bid, you’re not even worthy of calling to inquire whether there is still interest. No more Veenstra for us.

Well, I've had quite a few viewings in the period 2016 until now but this one from Veenstra Makelaars really takes the cake! Never felt like I was wasting my time during a viewing until I did a viewing with them. The best man was too lazy to walk me through the house and said 'look for yourself if you like it'. Thought, okay fine, I'll look. But when I was done and before I could say anything, the best sir asked me if I was ready because he had to call a colleague, so in other words, I had to leave. Oh yeah, and to appear professional, he still asked if I was interested in the property. When I said yes, he immediately came up with 'I must say there are very good candidates among them, so don't count on anything'. That was the clue that he would never give me the house even if I were the last person on earth. (I also understand that the property is not theirs but they do nominate the candidate to the client) Never ever Veenstra Makelaars again!!!! Ugh

Jammer dat u dit zo heeft ervaren, de makelaar geeft aan dat er veel belangstelling was voor deze te verhuren woning. Er waren 9 kandidaat huurders. De eigenaar heeft een keuze gemaakt en die is helaas niet op u gevallen. Er zijn naast u nog 7 mensen die we moesten teleurstellen. Mensen teleurstellen is nooit leuk. We begrijpen dat u al lang op zoek bent naar een woning en we vinden het dan ook heel jammer u, op dit moment in deze krappe markt, niet te hebben kunnen helpen.

Two stars. Planning and conducting the viewing went great, no problem with that and the realtor was present on time for the viewing. We found the viewing a big disappointment. Very impersonal and the impression was given that we couldn't afford it. No more Veenstra for us.

An unpleasant viewing of a property behind me with Mr. Veenstra. I have the impression that he is giving show viewers a tour for form's sake for this property because the seller of the property himself wants to decide this. The broker himself already has a buyer to whom he would prefer to sell the property, and in my opinion, he shows it well. First, Mr. Veenstra himself is late for the property with a story that he was detained. This can happen, but I think I deserve an apology for having been left waiting in front of a closed door. After this, he immediately gives me the feeling that I came for nothing because Mr. Veenstra starts his story about the property by stating that he already has a buyer for the property but that the owner also wants a sales process via Funda. This would not have been necessary for the broker himself. In addition to the fact that new viewers are let in after only fifteen minutes without explanation or apology towards me, it sketches my astonishment. In the email from the real estate agency, it states that half an hour is planned for my viewing appointment. That I must do this together with other interested parties and wait my turn to be able to ask a few questions of the broker, I find does not meet what they offer me beforehand. All in all, it made me stand outside again with an unpleasant aftertaste after the end of this viewing. For the first time I have viewed a property where I did not feel welcome as someone interested in buying.

We had three brokers come by first and the choice fell on Veenstra Makelaar. The feeling was good with Eize Veenstra. We sold our own house and bought another through Veenstra Makelaar. The guidance and personal contact were to great satisfaction. I'm not surprised either that they have become the best-selling broker in Heerenveen and surrounding areas in a short time. In short: as far as I'm concerned, 5 stars worth.

Poor communication, as previously mentioned, they were supposed to call back regarding a number of houses initially. This did not happen. I often had to chase them myself by calling. If you leave comments on Facebook, they block you, ridiculous...no, quickly switched to another real estate agent...

This realtor showed us a house that had already been sold. We no longer had any chance to even negotiate. We maintained phone contact and they said they would call back. But after a week, when we contacted them again, they knew nothing about calling us. The realtor who was present at the viewing didn't know anything about the house. What he told us could be read on funda. A shame because you do expect to have someone with you who can answer your questions.
