A day after I had accepted a nice offer on my house, I was working in my garden and heard someone say on the street: 'see, this house doesn't have a dormer window'. I immediately got a bad feeling and indeed my realtor called that the buyers were withdrawing the offer and making a lower offer. The voice on the street turned out to be Mrs. Mooij. There was no more room for negotiation, it was swallow or choke. That was obviously misjudged in this market: I had more bids and didn't want to deny these buyers anymore. The house is now sold perfectly well. Moreover, my neighbors with dormer windows have a house that is 30,000 euros more expensive and the lack of a dormer window was clearly evident during the viewing. Regarding judgment and politeness, this wasn't a good showing for this realtor!

We had chosen this real estate agent for the sale of our apartment due to the good reviews. Unfortunately, not all of our experiences were positive. On a certain day, there were too many viewers booked at the same time within a short period, with insufficient staffing/supervision from Mooij. Afterwards, I noticed that my cupboards had been looked into (and these were not items of furniture left behind), which I found very unpleasant. I had just expressed my concerns beforehand. Many items that were in plain sight had also already been removed. It also happened that an appointment for a viewing was made and no one from Mooij was present at that time, and they were unreachable by phone for a long time. Ultimately, I myself had to conduct the viewing with an interested buyer.

Contacted Marlous Mooij via email at the end of last week regarding an appraisal of our house. We were able to quickly schedule an appointment via email. She came for the appraisal last Monday. And the appraisal was arranged the next day. Super fast, expert and friendly.

After months of having our house for sale with another real estate agent, we approached Marlous. After a very pleasant conversation, we immediately took our house off the market and gave the assignment to Mooijhuis makelaar (real estate agency). We were directly contacted by Bianca, her stylist, for an appointment to take new photos with Pien, the photographer. Received lots of good tips on how to present our house in the best possible way. This led to a great presentation on funda, resulting in our house receiving 3 offers within 1 week and being sold at a good price. We also appreciated that we even received an app message with an update on Sundays. I find that very efficient. All praise for Marlous!! Our thanks are truly heeeeeeel groot (very, very big)!

It's a shame you have to repeatedly leave a voicemail and then receive an SMS message stating that viewings are not possible due to high interest. I understand that, of course, but apparently it’s too much to ask to speak to people personally. I called myself afterwards and got Mrs. Mooij on the phone. I indicated that I found it very unfriendly to be dismissed with an SMS. Although she was very friendly, her reaction was quite indifferent. Probably my message didn't fully get through because I received another SMS after our telephone conversation. First SMS (after 3 calls, twice of which were voicemails spread over two consecutive days): Good afternoon, unfortunately there are already many viewings scheduled for Sumatrastraat. If the property is not sold by early next week, I will contact you. The SMS wasn't meant to be rude, but more efficient and practical. Have a nice weekend! So not understood at all!! This house will not be BEAUTIFUL for us MOOIJ! Sellers should start with honesty! The real estate agent should be your business card. Unfortunately, it was not possible to select any stars.
