Housing & Co found a beautiful student apartment for me in Amsterdam. Because I was searching from abroad, it was very difficult for me. Housing & Co was extremely reliable and helpful. They did video viewings for me and found an apartment in the city center at a reasonable price. After sending me a draft rental agreement in English, they also dealt with the landlord and held the money in escrow beforehand. Terrible experience, when ending my rental agreement and moving out I expected to receive my deposit back. However, Vastgoed & Co withheld a large and unjustified portion without valid proof or documentation, causing me to be unfairly out of pocket. That was also an ongoing problem for 2 months after my check-out. Overall, I found the lack of responsiveness and accountability extremely unfair and disappointing. Potential tenants should be wary and carefully consider their options.

Very nice rental company overall, from quick responses to handling any issues. They make moving easy with a tool that allows you to set up amenities with just a few clicks. The staff are also very friendly and they quickly resolved an issue I had (shower). Will have to see how it goes over time, but for now it is absolutely the best rental company I've dealt with.

A few examples of Vastgoed & Co. Roof Leak: same-day notification that they are already on the roof with a contractor and fixing the leak. Broken window: same-day notification that they are already hammering the window shut and the frame is being given to a contractor to install a new window. Door sticking and tenants cannot get out: Vastgoed & Co solved it within an hour. In addition, they maintain good contact with the tenants and landlord. They are very attentive and friendly. They take the work off your hands. Everything you want from a good property manager.

I came across Vastgoedbeheer Amsterdam through an online search, after a telephone introduction and later an appointment at the location of one of my properties in Amsterdam, I decided to transfer all of my properties to this management company. We have now built a pleasant collaboration, fast communication/action and a reliable partner are key for me.
