Thanks to Spencer, I was able to rent a fantastic apartment in a very short time. He gave me an extensive tour, introduced me to the owner and arranged all communication quickly and professionally. The entire process went smoothly without any problems. I would absolutely work with Spencer again for future rentals.

My apartment rented via Expat Rentals and helped by both Guido and Spencer extremely well. Even after the tenant started to completely turn around, they helped me extremely well, mediated, and knew how to bring it to a good end. I am extremely grateful for that! Definitely recommend as an agent, nice men, think well with you and are good at their job.

Just as someone else has already experienced, I find myself in a similar situation. This real estate agency refuses to refund a significant portion of the deposit. This after waiting for one and a half months and contacting 'Spencer Abel', who I understand is also a co-owner. Overall, a very negative experience with this person. He claimed contradictory things during the inspection before and after the final inspection, and then tried to pressure me into paying for items that, according to him, would not be deductible. I strongly advise against getting involved with this company or this person. My case will likely lead to a lawsuit, and I will update this review as soon as the outcome is known. To everyone considering getting involved with this company: stay far away!

At 12:00 I was standing at the door because someone was coming to view the property that I want to rent out.....I'm still waiting, while the appointment was simply made and confirmed by email. No time for this kind of unprofessional behavior grrrrrr

A very bad experience with this landlord. After my move, they refused to return the substantial deposit for more than two months (which was outside of the contract terms), until I threatened to take legal action. Then they took a significant portion of the deposit to pay for various disputed matters. After your move, you have few options to fight against these shady practices, unless you put in a lot of effort. I recommend choosing a more reliable landlord, or else not paying the rent for the last two months. Then they can't evict you and you can finally negotiate the return of the deposit in a fair way. Good luck to everyone who gets involved with these people.

They are not mediators, but simply carry out the wishes of the landlord. Do not trust them and do not get involved with them. They are by far the worst!

Very happy with the service and people who come to my house. Never any problems, and everything is resolved in good consultation. It can sometimes take a while to find the right person, but I prefer that to someone being quickly placed and potentially unsuitable, because there have been several times when Expat Rentals felt that a candidate might not be the right tenant for me and could cause some problems. Based on much experience, they feel this well and I am very happy with it. I also don't need to be present at viewings, handover and checks. Saves me an enormous amount of time and hassle.
