However, Reinders passed on VAT to us on the agreed brokerage fee. This came as a big surprise on the closing statement at the notary's office. Upon inquiry with our legal assistance, it appears that this is in conflict with the law and the NVM conditions. That leaves a nasty aftertaste, which is a shame. Moreover, the question immediately arises: would this happen more often? The error has since been acknowledged, but processing took weeks. And that is very unfortunate and moreover not the way we were used to how Reinders operated. A pity and therefore ‘only’ 3 stars.

The first acquaintance 2019 Appointment for viewing. Waited over 30 minutes. While we were called there. We didn't have an appointment scheduled. Strange because we did receive confirmation emails. The second acquaintance 2022 Viewing request via Funda. Due to circumstances, we don’t want telephone contact. Yet, we are still called. We indicated wanting email contact. Afterwards, a lot of emails were received with reminders from move.NL while we hadn't even been there yet. Also, the email communication with them didn’t go smoothly. The third acquaintance. 2022 Wanting to make an appointment again. Same song and dance. First by phone, which is what we didn’t want. Then all sorts of reminders from move.NL that we DO NOT want or ask for. After the second contact, they clearly didn't grasp the message. We informed them that we would wait with the decision. As a reaction, they said the house was sold. Fine. Still, afterwards another reminder came to react via Move.NL Why were our details entered anyway without permission? Unfortunately, we ourselves were about 8 minutes late for the last appointment. We were very annoyed by this because now they can point the finger at us that we are doing something wrong. Houses for sale at Reinders…. We certainly have extra doubts about a potential purchase. Strength to real estate agent Reinders. After I posted this review, Mr J Reinders tried to call us. Since we are simply working, we didn't answer the phone. Immediately afterwards, I saw an email arrive. Short and sweet. The gentleman wanted to talk. That can......an email was sent back that evening when I am reachable at work. Exactly at that time we met each other. We both told our story. I tried to make clear that the amount of info is enormous even for a simple appointment, and that we don't feel comfortable. The barrier isn’t gone with us, but Mr. J Reinders did ask us to respond to an interesting offer. Mr. J Reinders would then personally ensure a good approach. That certainly adorns the entrepreneur.

What a wonderful experience with Reinders, especially considering we had to search for a property in the Netherlands from abroad and couldn't be physically present. Not only were we expertly helped and advised by Jeroen and Frank but by the entire team. They viewed more than 10 properties for us and always took the time (with a time difference of -6 hours) to digitally/online show us around the houses. They understood these limitations / inconveniences (time difference) very well and communicated this excellently with the selling real estate agents. We also experienced the financial and mortgage handling by Reinders Huizen en Hypotheken as very professional, where various options were discussed and multiple proposals were made. I put my house up for sale and was really super well helped and guided with everything by everyone from the Reinders team. They are also easy to reach and there is always someone ready for you if the person isn't available at that moment. They also think things through well and what is best for you. Sascha was my first point of contact. She did a really great job, hats off!. I am also very pleased with the other people who took care of the emails and appointments. Of course there are always small mistakes that are made or things that don't match the appraisal or description, but luckily mistakes happen when people work and they were corrected directly.
