The following all happened within a time span of 1 year and 2 months. The first appointment for the rental property was with Ronald, who then did not show up but sent a colleague to take over. The colleague knew absolutely nothing about the rental property and was there for spek en bonen [a Dutch expression meaning 'for nothing']. The energy label was never shared with me, even though I have asked multiple times. The rental property was disgusting when it was handed over. The shower was literally yellow and I had to clean the rental property together with family. There was a contract for an indefinite period signed with a 'termination agreement' of one year, which is not allowed by law. Towards the end of the year, there were many attempts to intimidate me. I would have to sign a new contract for half a year or a year, otherwise I had to leave the property. Ronald refused to communicate via e-mail and wanted only telephone conversations. After I did not answer all the phone calls, they decided anyway to contact me via WhatsApp messages. In the meantime, I had to contact lawyers who referred me to a lawyer, which cost me hundreds of euros because the Kroon Makelaars would not comply with the law and resorted to intimidation. The lawyer had to write a letter to Kroon Makelaars, which ultimately helped. Subsequently, the rental property is very bad and there are many defects; windows could not open, ventilation in the bathroom? Ho maar. There is also a worrying amount of floor sagging in the property, nothing will be done about it. A week later Ronald came by to make notes and take photos of it. Then a contractor came to repair the windows, so they can open again, and ventilation was installed in the bathroom, which is connected to a light sensor hanging in the communal shed. If we want to turn on the ventilation, we have to wave towards the light sensor so that we get 7 minutes of ventilation. Now I have been trying since 26-01-2026 to lower the rent, which the landlord has not yet responded to. The rental property I am in is rented to me as 'free sector'. I have done a points calculation and filled it out as with the rental committee, which shows that the property actually falls under social housing, with a points calculation of 114. For these reasons I do not recommend Kroon Makelaars.
I returned the apartment in good faith. They refuse to return my deposit. A very unfair real estate agent. I gave a month's notice in advance, but for some reason they are keeping my deposit. There is no damage to the apartment. They checked that.

After having done business with multiple real estate agencies in the IJmond area over the past years, I can confidently say that De Kroon Makelaars comes out as the best! Always professional and excellent market knowledge. The owner Ronald always goes for the best deal as a sales agent. And also not to forget, his prices are very sharp compared to other offices in Heemskerk and Beverwijk. Thank you!

We are really very happy with the help and guidance from De Kroon Makelaars. Because of a good experience in the past, we approached Ronald when we had serious interest in a house. Ronald was decisive in the purchase of our new house. Subsequently, Sarah helped us with the sale of our current house. Sarah is accessible and realistic. She is accurate and links findings back, so that we were well informed about the outcome of the viewings. She does everything in consultation and gives good advice. In short: real estate agents with a lot of experience and that pays off!
A broker who doesn't keep appointments. Ronald set up an agreement that was not subsequently honored. Afterwards, Ronald shirked some responsibility.

What an exceptionally bad realtor, had an appointment for 1 PM, specifically took the day off with the note that that is very difficult for me. I unfortunately encounter traffic which makes it take me 20 minutes longer and suddenly the appointment can't go ahead while the appointment normally lasts 30 minutes. I will not make appointments here!
