Ik ben niet het type persoon dat slechte recensies achterlaat, en ik voel me zelfs nu nog slecht als ik dit doe, maar ik hoop iemand anders te behoeden voor mijn situatie. Ik zal hieronder meer in detail treden, maar samengevat: slecht advies van TWM heeft mij minstens 50.000 euro gekost, en de situatie is nog steeds aan de gang. Ik heb TWM ingehuurd om mij te helpen bij de aankoop van een huis in 2021. Als ik toen een recensie had geschreven, waren het 5 sterren geweest. De makelaar waarmee ik heb samengewerkt was uiterst behulpzaam en communicatief. Als expat voelde ik me erg gerustgesteld. Uiteindelijk ben ik gaan zoeken in de omgeving van Zaanstad. TWM liet mij weten dat dit niet hun voornaamste werkgebied was, maar dat het geen probleem was om mij hier te helpen iets te vinden. Huizen in Zaanstad van een bepaalde leeftijd staan ​​erom bekend dat ze funderingsreparaties nodig hebben, en het maakte vanaf het begin heel duidelijk dat ik funderingsreparaties NIET kon betalen, en dus moest vermijden om een ​​huis te kopen waar dit nodig was. Uiteindelijk heb ik in de buurt een pand gevonden dat mij erg beviel... maar het huis stond wat scheef, wat wederom op funderingsproblemen duidde. Ik bracht dit ter sprake bij de agent, die zei dat er geen speciale reden tot bezorgdheid was, maar dat het technisch onderzoek ons ​​dit zeker zou uitwijzen. De technische keuring gebeurde via een inspecteur die door de makelaar werd aanbevolen. In het rapport zei hij dat er binnen de stichting geen bijzondere reden tot bezorgdheid leek te zijn; dat het huis uiteraard gekanteld stond, maar hij merkte niets abnormaals. Ook gaf hij aan dat een specifiek stichtingsrapport ons meer zou kunnen vertellen, maar dat hij dit niet nodig vond. Ik heb opnieuw contact opgenomen met de makelaar en gevraagd om zeker te zijn van het funderingsprobleem. Opnieuw kreeg ik te horen dat er geen reden tot bezorgdheid was. Ik vroeg de makelaar naar een passend bod op het huis, en hij keurde het bod dat ik wilde doen goed en zei dat het een goed bod op het huis was. Alles ging goed, ik kocht het huis en ging er wonen. Hierna veranderde mijn situatie onverwachts en eind 2023 werd duidelijk dat ik uit Nederland zou verhuizen. Ik wist dat de doorlooptijd vrij kort was, dus ik hoopte alleen maar break-even te draaien bij de verkoop van het huis. Ik nam opnieuw contact op met TWM om de verkoop af te handelen, omdat ik eerder zo'n positieve ervaring met hen had. Toen werd duidelijk dat het advies dat ze mij gaven bij de aankoop van het huis slecht was. Zodra we begonnen met het verkopen van het huis, noemde elke potentiële koper fundamentele zorgen. Wat "geen probleem" was, werd de reden dat niemand het huis wilde kopen... en omdat ik slechts 2 jaar in het huis heb gewoond (november 2021 - november 2023), kan ik moeilijk geloven dat de fundering in die korte tijd is verslechterd van "geen reden tot bezorgdheid, volkomen normaal" naar "ONMIDDELLIJKE RENOVATIE NODIG". Op het moment dat ik dit schrijf, heb ik het huis te koop staan ​​voor 50.000 euro minder dan wat ik heb betaald, en ik kan nog steeds geen bod van dit bedrag krijgen. Dit is het minimumbedrag dat ik kan accepteren en de hypotheek kan afbetalen; lager, en ik zal nog steeds hypotheekbetalingen doen. Omdat TWM verder zo serieus en oprecht leek (dit is de reden dat ik nog steeds 2 sterren geef in plaats van 1), zou ik graag willen geloven dat dit een eerlijke vergissing was.
