The real estate agent terminated our agreement because we asked “too many irrelevant questions” (all about the apartment). It is unclear what the role of the real estate agent is in the purchasing process if they refuse to answer questions. We also received no feedback on the documents written in Dutch, even though the agent is “specialized in working with expats”. Finally, we only received 50% of the fee we paid. Very unprofessional attitude and a total waste of our time.

Very friendly and initially professional reception. After submitting our bid within the bidding period, a verbal agreement was reached and our (higher) bid accepted. Unfortunately, this broker does not honor their agreements and we were casually informed that a minimally higher bid had come in the day after the closing of the bidding period and that if we increased our bid, they would break the verbal agreement. Clearly not a company you can trust on their word. Tip: don't celebrate and sign as quickly as possible so this party honors verbal agreements!
