We paid Langezaal 4000 euros for their service but got not much help worth the price paid. The house was found by us and we requested the viewing (involved the agent to ask appropriate questions and read the documents and inform us but none of this was done). On pressurizing the agent, got into negotiation with the seller agent which resulted in reducing the buying price. Got no help from the agent regarding the property to get details like the base fund (VvE) of the building, etc.…

Our experience with Langezaal Makelaars regarding a retail property was frankly disappointing. The communication was chaotic and slow; we had to wait an incredibly long time for answers. Moreover, the information constantly changed. Initially everything seemed clear, but suddenly there was talk of a different tenant, without any explanation or consultation. The real estate agent promised all sorts of things, but did not keep his promises and suddenly went on vacation without arranging anything or informing us. In addition, Vincent, who showed us the property, was rushed and had hardly any knowledge of the subject matter. They didn't look at the complete picture, and instead of asking for information, they based themselves on assumptions. If you are looking for a real estate agent for a retail property, definitely look elsewhere. Working with Langezaal Makelaars will only cost you time and frustration.

I was always able to reach the real estate agent and the accompanying staff by phone for questions; when mentioning my name, they immediately knew which property it concerned. A terrible experience with a company that refuses to address serious problems such as mold and severe damage, but instead focuses on trivial matters. We were forced to leave the Netherlands due to the condition of the apartment and there was no other place to stay, despite working there. During the viewing and in the contract, they knowingly concealed the poor condition of the apartment. When the serious issues came to light, they refused to address them, leading us into an uninhabitable situation. I strongly advise you not to deal with them!. Legal action is coming their way.

CAUTION I wish I had read some of the earlier bad reviews before entering into business with this company. They fully exploit the desperation of tenants in the Netherlands and work together with landlords who do the same. The property we rented had numerous problems (mold, broken windows, noise) that were deliberately hidden from us until after we moved in, and they take no responsibility. We are now considering legal action. If there is a viewing with this company, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Response: I believe the response shows the low character of the company. The problems to which I referred and that you did not address in your hateful reply are: the broken bedroom window that should have been repaired upon signing but was not, the strong mold smell from every pipe masked by leaving all doors and windows open during the viewing and could also not be repaired, and the sound of the upstairs neighbor and the front door echoing throughout the apartment whenever someone entered or left the building. I said nothing here about countertops or busy streets. Why aren't you addressing the mold problems in the apartment?

Very rude. Real estate agent Melissa van Putten refused to answer questions from people at the open house. One man was so brave as to ask her a question about the light and she said sarcastically: 'Look outside'. When I politely asked for her name, she said: 'I am not obliged to give you my name!'. I said: 'Yes, you are not obliged, but it is very normal to do so.' I didn't know how to respond to this because I simply couldn't believe how rude this was.

Extremely malicious business covering for equally malicious landlords, who profit from the poor housing situation in the Netherlands to house students in poorly maintained and unsafe homes. Langezaal acts as a ‘point of contact’ for all problems and refuses to let you contact the landlord directly. If you then need something, whether it's the return of your deposit or the electricity that needs to be repaired, they tell you that this is the responsibility of the landlord and do nothing. Together they empty the pockets of students and their families without any concern for amenities. DO NOT fall for this company, no matter how desperate you are looking for housing. They know you're desperate and will use it to take advantage of you. This review means nothing to them because they know that the demand for homes is so great and the supply is insufficient. P.S. Don’t expect your deposit back without the intervention of at least one lawyer. Be prepared in advance! UPDATE: One bad review and a threat of legal action = the deposit magically reappears on my account!

Michelle is truly excellent! She completely took care of everything for us. Sold our house quickly and very well. She is very accessible, knowledgeable and friendly. Also decisive: the buyer of our house was a peculiar person…. Michelle handled and reacted to that very well! The colleagues in the office are also accessible, friendly and always up-to-date on what's happening. Highly recommended.

The lady was very customer-unfriendly (she didn't even introduce herself) and quite unprofessional (couldn't answer all the questions). Always be careful with apartments/houses where you pay separately for the apartment/house and separately for the land (ground lease), which is revised every few years. VVE costs were also very expensive per month and I wasn't entirely clear why the costs are so high. In the photos, the apartment looked more spacious and tidier than in reality. I had different expectations because of this. Very unfortunate. Furthermore, a building inspection hadn't been carried out (earlier). That would be at the expense of the buyer while it is a very old building. Besides the purchase price, I would carefully watch out for other costs that could run wild. These are not explained or mentioned properly.

Last year I bought a garage box through langezaal, communication was very bad. They said they could deliver within 2 weeks, far from it. The person in question went on vacation without communicating anything at all. Ultimately, the VvE costs listed on funda were twice as high. Tried to resolve things privately, but without result... Questions for clarification were answered aggressively. Eventually I was able to make an appointment with the 'site manager' on location, and received a one-time offer of €200,-. The good reviews below are written by staff.. Scoundrels! Pay close attention before you sign anything!
