I have been waiting for my deposit for years!! It's not fair of Mijdam from Reichman and Rommelaar; I also sent him an email to which he doesn't respond. He only acts normally towards people with a lot of money and villas, but not towards tenants, and that is inhumane. You have until January 14, 2025, to refund it to my ASN bank. Lawyer summons BORG Dear Sir/Madam from Berendsen law firm,. To this day, years later, I still haven't received my €1,000 deposit from Mr. Mijdam. He continues to wrongly claim that he offset the deposit with the then-existing rent arrears. However, these rent arrears were fully repaid years ago; therefore, there is absolutely no outstanding rent debt, which Mr. Mijdam, my landlord, keeps saying. Furthermore, the inspection report shows that there were already holes in the wall and other wear and tear. Minor wear and tear does not fall under the security deposit. I am sending your law firm Berendsen this email to initiate a summons through the court with additional costs for years of theft and lying by Mr. Mijdam so as not to want to repay my €1,000 deposit; this is an illegally prohibited business model - not returning the security deposit. I want to give Mr. Mijdam one last opportunity to refund the rent this week, no later than Friday, January 10, 2025, to my new ASN bank account. If Mr. Mijdam again rejects this lenient possibility of mine, I will, through your law firm Berendsen, not only claim the €1,000 security deposit from the rental property at 2e Sweelinkstraat 88 in The Hague but also charge additional costs via the court. I have documented email correspondence with Mr. Mijdam where he hears from me that there is no longer a WSNP debt trajectory and that I received a clean slate from the court years ago. I am not pleased with the false accusations of Mr. Gert Mijdam; he wrongly said that I did not leave the house in good order. For example, he showed a worn-out, dirty toilet in a photo that looked like that when I first moved in, and the dirty oven was never used by me because it already looked so dirty; I always used my own microwave. Mr. Mijdam also lied that he had to pay hotel costs for the new tenant because the new tenant could not move into my house earlier, while later I learned from the boy's mother that he did not incur any extra costs and that this new resident even had to pay the boy painting costs himself. Also, Mr. Mijdam, my old landlord from Reichman and Rommelaar, says that my old property has now been taken over by another real estate agent; of course, that doesn't matter. The deposit and rental agreement were concluded with you, Mr. Mijdam, at the time, and you are therefore responsible for it. You received €1,000 from me at the time, and I am legally entitled to receive this amount back. Since I have been asking you for this for several years now, enough is enough.
