Terrible experience. They asked for a deposit of € 450 just to show interest in an apartment. Then they said: 'Congratulations, the owner has chosen you as a tenant', and only after that did they send the lease agreement. When I read the contract, it was full of illegal clauses. When I asked for clarification, they responded rudely and disrespectfully - especially Bianca - as if I had no right to doubt anything. In the end, they kept the € 450. This real estate office is completely unreliable. Never rent from this office!!!

WARNING: Very unreliable company. I found out that they also charge illegal fees to tenants that they shouldn't have to pay. I rented my apartment through them and they tried to rip me off by charging fees that I didn't have to pay. Later I found out that they also scammed other people. Really a company you cannot trust. They don't pick up the phone and ignore every attempt to contact them if you try to find a solution.

This rental company is NOT trustworthy. Not only are the employees incredibly disrespectful (especially André, if he still works there). I want to make it clear that I am a real person, not a robot, and that I had an extremely negative experience with this company. They may even respond to this dishonest review and say they have never heard my name before – but that is not true. They delete their Google account roughly every year to erase the evidence of their terrible and illegal behavior (hence the low ratings, despite having existed for more than 5 years), but in my own experience, my heating went out during winter for over 2 months and when I called them to solve the problem, they laughed at me on the phone. This company is only interested in money; once they have it, THEY HELP YOU NOT AT ALL. They even tried multiple times to scam me with extra charges and taxes that are not legal in the Netherlands! This company is outright terrible. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

For a few months now, we've been working with TREC when there are malfunctions or other issues within their managed portfolio. We work closely with Bianca, and it’s very pleasant to collaborate with her! I cannot recommend the services of The Real Estate Company. They don't even deserve one star! From the start, dealing with them was frustrating due to a lack of professionalism and competence, especially from the key employees A (he), B (she), and A (she). Communication was consistently poor. After I had moved, all emails and phone calls were ignored, making it impossible to get support or clarification. The final inspection by A (she), which should have been done by A (he), was another issue - despite a scheduled time, she arrived early, took photos for the report while I was still cleaning up, and showed no flexibility at all. The management of the office is unapproachable and chaotic, with poor coordination between them and landlord N. Instead of helping tenants, they pass the buck, leaving tenants in a frustrating cycle. A major concern is the process of refunding the deposit. Numerous other reviews mention withheld deposits, and I unfortunately experienced the same. It took several legal steps and months before I finally got my deposit back after moving out in October 2024; I received it only in February 2025. Moreover, negative reviews about their service seem to be quickly removed, raising questions about transparency. Although I will not name specific names or addresses, this was in The Hague - so I strongly advise potential tenants to be very cautious with their dealings!

Worst parcel shop I've ever experienced. Opening hours are incorrect and you can only drop off one package at a time. If you don’t feel like or have time for the service, you should just close as a DHL point.

What a hopeless, unprofessional organization this is. Open for package pick-up Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 18:00. You come at 17:47 to collect a parcel and the door is locked in front of your face. With the excuse: the alarm is already on. Ehh I think it just says on your site that you are open until 18:00. The lady's reaction, we are people and it’s Friday. Then put on your site that you close the door on Fridays when you feel like it and not at 18:00. Now a whole weekend of waiting and try again on Monday. Hopefully they will be open then, because yes, who wants to work on Mondays. Never let a parcel be picked up at this pick-up point again.
