Today we had a viewing for a house, but unfortunately it was a very negative experience. The selling real estate agent was late and didn't introduce herself. Her attitude was condescending and unfriendly from the start. We were asked to leave the front door open for “the large stream of people” who would still come, without even an "please" or "thank you". Furthermore, it turned out that the house had a shared hallway with a barbershop. Logically, I wanted to know what was there, as it is a shared space, but the agent reacted curtly that this “wasn't the intention”. While as a potential buyer you want to be fully informed. Due to the unprofessional and rude attitude of this lady, we decided not to even look further at the house. You don’t sell houses like this; you drive interested parties away.

Last year, I was extremely well assisted by Rits when purchasing my house. Thanks to his help, I was able to smoothly navigate the entire process.

Our experience with Sander from WoonCompany was enormously frustrating. We felt pressured to accept large jobs with little notice period and unclear communication. We received an email stating that our heating would be switched off if we did not respond immediately, forcing us to agree. Throughout the entire process, we struggled to get clear answers, and when problems arose afterwards, we suddenly heard that WoonCompany had nothing to do with it - despite all communication via their email. We do not appreciate these business tactics and would never rent through them again.

Bad service and bad partners. Avoid them. If you really want a house from them, here are my tips: 1) get legal insurance, 2) take lots of photos/documentation of the condition of the house and your communication with them, and 3) inspect the house thoroughly upon check-in and don't let them underestimate the value of the check-in report. We rented a house from them for almost 2 years in DH. Bad service from Woon Company: We were wrongly informed about details of the house by the real estate agent, which affected our rental. Fortunately, we could agree with the landlords and both had to come to a compromise. However, this is a stupid mistake. Bad partners Vellinga Real Estate: The property manager of Woon Company (they work in the same building and collaborate, you already guessed it) pushes the limits of the law. For example, they may not ask for labor costs for repairs without a pre-inspection (which they did anyway). We only found out about this when we hired a lawyer. Another example: if there is a repair needed, they charge the costs without an estimate and don't provide purchase receipts for the furniture. The receipts are needed for depreciation and for the amount they can ask for. Here's another example of how they try to rip people off. At check-out, the manager told me that a professional had to be hired to hang the pictures in the right place. I laughed, thinking he was joking. He wasn't. I rearranged the pictures in less than 5 minutes. I'm fairly certain they wanted us to pay 100-150 euros for a professional to hang the pictures in the right place. I understand that we have to leave the house as we found it. But this clearly shows they are looking for an excuse to not return as much of the deposit as possible. Summary: Bad service and bad partners. Avoid them.

Unbelievable blind drivers in company cars (black Peugeot 208) don't look any further than the tip of their nose. They will know a lot about real estate but have no traffic insight.

He offered us, as expats who were unfamiliar with both the application procedure and the long-term history of the housing market, great support. His communication was always punctual and he made extra effort to ensure that we understood what was happening at all times, from the initial viewing to the completion. They were nice at the beginning, even though it was always just a few words from their side. We had applied for a housing and were invited for the viewing. As soon as we left the house, we sent an e-mail stating that we wanted to rent it. Their answer was that if we would say that we really wanted it again and send the documents, they wouldn't offer it to other tenants. We said then that we were interested and asked for two more days to send the documents. They answered that they would wait for them. After we had sent the documents as quickly as possible, it took another five days before they responded. And in that answer they said that the owner had chosen ANOTHER APPLICANT instead of us!! How?? If they had said they wouldn't offer it to anyone else?? That's the big mystery... in the e-mail they were polite. But if you call, it never really interests them what you need. A terrible experience. You have to be honest with people. You almost made us homeless, two weeks before we had to move.
