Ik zou de makelaar 4,5 sterren geven. Ze waren professioneel, verantwoordelijk en behulpzaam gedurende het hele proces. De in- en uitcheckprocedures waren ook duidelijk en goed georganiseerd. Ik merkte echter dat sommige verhuurders waarmee ze samenwerken hun woningen eerder als vakantieverhuur hebben verhuurd. Hierdoor kunnen huurders problemen met het appartement ontdekken die tijdens de eerste bezichtiging niet zichtbaar waren. En al deze problemen worden doorgeschoven naar huurders voor de lange termijn. Bovendien lijken sommige verhuurders niet bekend te zijn met de rechten van huurders in Nederland en kunnen ze zich agressief gedragen tegenover huurders. Helaas hebben wij zelf een van de ergste gevallen meegemaakt en moesten we juridisch advies inwinnen in een bijzonder lastige periode van het jaar. De situatie werd uiteindelijk opgelost, maar het kostte ons aanzienlijk veel tijd en geld. Over het algemeen vind ik Urban Homies een zeer goede makelaar voor mensen die dringend hulp nodig hebben bij een verhuizing naar Nederland. Ik zou huurders echter sterk aanraden zich te verdiepen in de Nederlandse huurwetgeving en voorbereid te zijn om hun rechten te verdedigen indien nodig.

Ik heb een fantastische ervaring gehad met Wester Makelaars bij de verkoop van mijn appartement in Amsterdam, vooral omdat ik al naar de VS was verhuisd. Alles op afstand regelen had stressvol kunnen zijn, maar zij maakten het hele proces soepel en overzichtelijk. Vanaf het begin was hun communicatie helder en transparant – kosten, verwachtingen en tijdschema's werden allemaal vooraf duidelijk uiteengezet, wat ik erg op prijs stelde. Gedurende het hele proces bleven ze bereikbaar en professioneel en hielden ze me bij elke stap op de hoogte. Een opvallend pluspunt is hun online platform, waarmee ik de voortgang gemakkelijk kon volgen, documenten kon bekijken en betrokken kon blijven, ondanks het tijdsverschil. Het stroomlijnde het proces enorm en was erg handig. Al met al een zeer betrouwbaar en efficiënt team. Ik zou ze zeker aanbevelen aan iedereen die een woning in Amsterdam wil verkopen, vooral als je het vanuit het buitenland regelt.
