He actively listened to my wishes and made sure he screened all apartments before viewing them, which saved us time and energy. He regularly came up with possibilities before I had seen them online. During viewings, he ensured that he focused on all the small but important technical details so that I could focus on my overall opinion of the apartments. He didn't rush and even postponed the process several times due to details I had overlooked. Ultimately, we found the perfect apartment for me in less than two months. And thanks to his market knowledge and negotiation skills, I got a great apartment at a great price without having to pay transfer tax. Finally, Barry checked all the documents to make sure everything was in order, which was enormously important to me since I don't yet speak Dutch. All in all, I am very happy with Barry and I can wholeheartedly recommend him.

Unfortunately, I cannot respond to the reaction of the owner below and wanted to leave it at the bad review, but the response below asks for some clarification, so here’s what happened: - Tel Krop sold a house via bidding - We had the winning bid - Written confirmation from Monique Krop. List of movable assets shared. Notary confirmed. - The notary prepared the documents for the transfer - The party that had offered less in the bidding process still wanted to offer more, while we already had confirmation of the purchase and the documents were with the notary. We were offered a compensation if we would withdraw, because we were formally the buyers. - Ultimately went with the other buyer anyway, without compensating us. Not only ethically very questionable, but also illegal. I think it speaks for itself that you should stay as far away from Monique Krop as possible.

Manuela (real estate manager/not a real estate owner) presents herself as very professional and cooperative, but that is absolutely an illusion. When we moved in, we discovered that several things were broken and needed to be repaired. For some things, it took more than six months to get them fixed, while quite a bit of money had to be paid monthly. She didn't allow me to contact the owner of the property myself to resolve some issues. Fortunately, he is very collegial and reasonable. Something that Manuela clearly isn’t. I would not recommend working with her as a tenant or real estate owner. Her way of communicating is very unpleasant and unreasonable. 2nd review (after rental period) after we left the apartment, it got even worse. Manuela texted me that I should remove this 1-star review. Her argument; my review is incorrect. She even threatened me with legal action if I didn’t remove this review. In my opinion, this portrays Manuela in all respects. In our case, she did not take responsibility for her negligence during our rental period. It was a complete nightmare for me and my family to have her as a property manager.

I give her 10/10 because she has enormous knowledge of the market on the one hand, provides good advice and help, but also thinks along depending on your specific situation. Iwana always responds quickly and is always available for questions. Date unknownI found the communication with this selling agent quite disappointing. Their language came across as unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. A little friendliness and respect work wonders – especially in real estate, where trust and clear communication are essential. I hope they will reflect on this and consider adjusting their tone in future interactions. EDIT: Good communication is crucial in real estate. Unfortunately, we were not treated professionally by this agent. I initially didn't want to reveal too many details, but now I feel that I must. When we presented the result of our offer, the agent insulted and laughed at us by saying we had the lowest bid, and even if it had been the highest, we wouldn’t win anything from them – he literally laughed at us. When we asked for the reason, he continued to insult us by saying how bad and unreliable we are. Actually, it didn't start there. He also discriminated against us during the viewing. He didn’t take us seriously and only paid attention to others. He even made a homophobic comment, simply because we are a married gay couple. The way we were treated is unacceptable, and instead of apologizing, they chose to lie in their public response. Just to clarify what really happened with the first apartment: we had the highest bid but were not accepted. The agent said that they didn’t trust our financial situation and asked for extra documents. Because we couldn't deliver what they requested on time, we had to withdraw our offer. But now they are trying to make it seem as if we simply changed our minds and are unreliable. We want to be clear: we could have withdrawn our bid without giving a reason before signing the contract. We acted in good faith, and it is enormously disappointing to see the situation twisted like this.

We have thoroughly investigated the matter in order to respond adequately. We understand that you made an offer on a property that we had for sale in Amsterdam. Your offer was accepted by the seller and we had to inform the other interested parties that their bids were not successful. A day later, however, you expressed serious doubts about the property and withdrew your offer. This was of course disappointing for the seller, but it can happen. Two weeks later, you made another bid on a different property in the same street and the same complex. The broker then asked why you submitted another bid, since you recently expressed doubts about similar properties in the same apartment building. This time your bid was not the highest, and the seller decided to accept another bid. You stated that you were surprised that the broker brought up the recent cancellation. However, we believe this is a justified question. As brokers, we are obliged to investigate potential buyers so that we can advise our clients which offer is most suitable to accept. We needed a real estate agent who really understood the house and ideally was just as enthusiastic about it as we were. We chose Rohlof Real Estate, simply because Frank showed an absolute passion for the house, which we knew he would convey to potential buyers. Hij nam de tijd om te begrijpen wat we zochten en begeleidde ons bij elke stap van het proces. Het proces om het appartement te krijgen verliep dankzij zijn hulp razendsnel; binnen een week hadden we een akkoord over ons nieuwe appartement. Hij maakte het proces voor ons veel gemakkelijker door de onderhandelingen te regelen, te helpen met het doornemen van alle papieren en de afspraken met de notaris te regelen. Others kept saying that my market offer was too competitive and that they could no longer accept clients, or they tried to convince me to increase my budget. Boudy said nothing of the sort, and he is the one who helped me buy and move into a beautiful studio in Amsterdam in just over two months. He gave me great price advice and arranged all the procedures necessary for the deal. He also helped me with negotiations with the seller when problems arose. 15 May 2025Boudewijn sold an apartment with a garage for us. The sale initially struggled because the bathroom and kitchen were dated. Boudewijn persevered stubbornly and ultimately sold everything for a neat price!
