He actively listened to my wishes and made sure he screened all apartments before viewing them, which saved us time and energy. He regularly came up with possibilities before I had seen them online. During viewings, he ensured that he focused on all the small but important technical details so that I could focus on my overall opinion of the apartments. He didn't rush and even postponed the process several times due to details I had overlooked. Ultimately, we found the perfect apartment for me in less than two months. And thanks to his market knowledge and negotiation skills, I got a great apartment at a great price without having to pay transfer tax. Finally, Barry checked all the documents to make sure everything was in order, which was enormously important to me since I don't yet speak Dutch. All in all, I am very happy with Barry and I can wholeheartedly recommend him.

15 May 2025They sell apartments without knowing the division of ownership deeds, let alone pointing this out to potential buyers. Years of conflict within the HOA is not mentioned to the buyers. Moreover, they lie about the proportions within the HOA and make it look better than it is. I warned Manuela about this but she didn't care. It is prohibited and unethical. However, she doesn't care about that.

Date unknownWe rented an apartment through Prestige Housing. Manuela (real estate manager/not a real estate owner) presents herself as very professional and cooperative, but that is absolutely an illusion. When we moved in, we discovered that several things were broken and needed to be repaired. For some things, it took more than six months to get them fixed, while quite a bit of money had to be paid monthly. She didn't allow me to contact the owner of the property myself to resolve some issues. Fortunately, he is very collegial and reasonable. Something that Manuela clearly isn’t. I would not recommend working with her as a tenant or real estate owner. Her way of communicating is very unpleasant and unreasonable. 2nd review (after rental period) after we left the apartment, it got even worse. Manuela texted me that I should remove this 1-star review. Her argument; my review is incorrect. She even threatened me with legal action if I didn’t remove this review. In my opinion, this portrays Manuela in all respects. In our case, she did not take responsibility for her negligence during our rental period. It was a complete nightmare for me and my family to have her as a property manager.

I had my apartment for rent through a real estate agent for a month and it wasn't rented out. Prestige Housing took different photos, a different description. Within a few days I had three viewings and within a week it was rented out. Clear price agreements. Highly recommended.

25 Oct 2025Simpelweg de beste makelaar ooit! Ruim 6 jaar geleden had David onze woning verkocht en ook toen waren wij super tevreden. Dus dit keer twijfelden wij niet eens en wilden we hem weer als onze makelaar inschakelen. Hij heeft veel kennis van de vastgoedmarkt, is erg professioneel, schakelt snel, houdt zich altijd aan de afspraken en belt regelmatig met een update. Tegelijkertijd voelt het ook erg vertrouwd voor mij, hij houdt erg rekening met persoonlijke omstandigheden en adviseert het juiste en hij is ook heel eerlijk. Zijn strategie als makelaar is ook super en we zijn echt mega tevreden met hem en met zijn team/kantoor! Binnen 1,5 week was onze woning verkocht (eerste keer ook). Dus doe jezelf een gunst en schakel De Makelaers in! Op alle punten verdienen zij een dikke 10 (of liever een dikke 20!).

Date unknownI found the communication with this selling agent quite disappointing. Their language came across as unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. A little friendliness and respect work wonders – especially in real estate, where trust and clear communication are essential. I hope they will reflect on this and consider adjusting their tone in future interactions. EDIT: Good communication is crucial in real estate. Unfortunately, we were not treated professionally by this agent. I initially didn't want to reveal too many details, but now I feel that I must. When we presented the result of our offer, the agent insulted and laughed at us by saying we had the lowest bid, and even if it had been the highest, we wouldn’t win anything from them – he literally laughed at us. When we asked for the reason, he continued to insult us by saying how bad and unreliable we are. Actually, it didn't start there. He also discriminated against us during the viewing. He didn’t take us seriously and only paid attention to others. He even made a homophobic comment, simply because we are a married gay couple. The way we were treated is unacceptable, and instead of apologizing, they chose to lie in their public response. Just to clarify what really happened with the first apartment: we had the highest bid but were not accepted. The agent said that they didn’t trust our financial situation and asked for extra documents. Because we couldn't deliver what they requested on time, we had to withdraw our offer. But now they are trying to make it seem as if we simply changed our minds and are unreliable. We want to be clear: we could have withdrawn our bid without giving a reason before signing the contract. We acted in good faith, and it is enormously disappointing to see the situation twisted like this.

A day later, however, you expressed serious doubts about the property and withdrew your offer. This was of course disappointing for the seller, but it can happen. Two weeks later, you made another bid on a different property in the same street and the same complex. The broker then asked why you submitted another bid, since you recently expressed doubts about similar properties in the same apartment building. This time your bid was not the highest, and the seller decided to accept another bid. You stated that you were surprised that the broker brought up the recent cancellation. However, we believe this is a justified question. As brokers, we are obliged to investigate potential buyers so that we can advise our clients which offer is most suitable to accept. Iwana always responds quickly and is always available for questions. 21 Jul 2025Last spring I sold my apartment of approximately 60 m² in the Jordaan with Kelly. It was the first time I have sold a property in the Netherlands or another country and Kelly supported me enormously with all the different questions I had and took all our worries out of our hands. When we doubted, we relied on their expertise and ultimately everything went very smoothly and according to plan – I believe it took about 5 weeks before everything was finalized. They did many viewings (approximately 35, I think) and kept us informed of all developments. Should we, our colleagues, find ourselves in a similar situation again, we certainly recommend Vos & Kleian. They had everything under control and exuded a very high level of mediation.

By the end of June, the house was listed on Move.nl and it was sold on September 19th, including notarial registration. It went very quickly.
