The process took some time from our side, because we were simultaneously looking for another house, but Fris makelaars has been very helpful throughout the entire process and always had good advice ready when we had questions about something. That took a lot of worry away. The ladies at Fris makelaars also never promised anything nicer than they could deliver and, from what we have experienced, do not participate in the sneaky practices on the current housing market. That gave us a very trustworthy feeling. We hope to not have to engage them for a while, but if it’s necessary then we will definitely knock on their door again at Fris!

Date unknownMy lawyer has repeatedly pointed out to this broker the legal regulations, which were ignored. Three times I received an incorrect order of services with numerous errors, including even a wrong house number. An order even crossed out with pen and scribbles. A price tag was stuck on the property without consultation, with the answer being that I wasn't a realtor, didn't understand, and had to have a structural survey carried out at my expense. Finally, the association NVM was brought in, then it became too hot for this broker under his feet and he threw in the towel. I hope Mike Gorter is satisfied with putting a 6-year-old child on the street and then moving into the property himself without taking over and preventing the sale. In short, a very bad realtor, (apparently I'm not the only one see review facebook). Arrogant, Unreliable, doesn't keep appointments. Scammers!!!! A warned person counts for two.

Luckily, Jeff managed to talk us out of it and also ensured the other viewings went ahead. As a result, we started an auction on Friday morning from which we were able to get the maximum out of the sale! Thanks Jeff, you were amazing!

The employees seemed uninterested and unprofessional. In addition, my data was handled carelessly. Mistakes were made and I had to provide the same information multiple times, which was very frustrating. This doesn’t exactly inspire confidence, especially when it comes to something important like buying or selling a home. All in all, I would absolutely not recommend this real estate agent. Customer friendliness and carefulness don't seem to be a priority here.

01 May 2025If you engage a buyer's agent, of course you hope they work thoroughly. Well, Marcel more than fulfilled that wish! No corner or crevice was overlooked, allowing him to quickly sketch out a realistic picture of the possibilities in negotiation but also an increase in future market value. Communication was clear and we never had to wait long for an answer should a question arise. No notes, 10/10 would hire again!

He actively listened to my wishes and made sure he screened all apartments before viewing them, which saved us time and energy. He regularly came up with possibilities before I had seen them online. During viewings, he ensured that he focused on all the small but important technical details so that I could focus on my overall opinion of the apartments. He didn't rush and even postponed the process several times due to details I had overlooked. Ultimately, we found the perfect apartment for me in less than two months. And thanks to his market knowledge and negotiation skills, I got a great apartment at a great price without having to pay transfer tax. Finally, Barry checked all the documents to make sure everything was in order, which was enormously important to me since I don't yet speak Dutch. All in all, I am very happy with Barry and I can wholeheartedly recommend him.

Date unknownWe engaged the team of Carel for the purchase of our apartment and also made use of the services of mortgage advisor Omar. We can now say with full satisfaction. To buy a home below the asking price in the current market and to get the mortgage arranged within three weeks, you need to know your houses. Carel and Omar pulled it off! Of course, a compliment is also due to the ladies of the internal agency and mortgages: they did excellent work and kept us informed of every step. We absolutely recommend them: VLIEG gets 5 stars from us. We engaged team VLIEG Zaanstad (Carel, Amy and Mariken) for the sale of our house. The quote stated: may we also exceed your expectations? You more than fulfilled that. We are very happy with you (and of course also with mortgage advisor Omar) and again: thank you for the good service (right up to a moving van). There was very good communication between the agents, the mortgage advisor and the internal and external services. We were completely relieved of worries, kept informed of every step and (potential) problems were predicted - and solved before they became an actual problem. I experienced the conversations as very pleasant and skilled, because he, despite representing someone, thought along with us, gave tips, and was transparent about the process. I have seen this differently with other real estate agents, which meant that the purchase process of the new home took place almost without problems. Carel (and Vlieg Makelaars) are an experienced party, who bring a good mix of logic and emotion to ensure that the process runs as smoothly as possible for all parties.

Applying the maximum price index for years, no response to requests for leniency, very slow reaction to deferred maintenance, no support during corona for the tenant, service costs unilaterally increased due to adjusted tax legislation. Be careful if this becomes the manager of your (business) building!
