Mijn woning is vlot en voor een mooie prijs verkocht, de communicatie verliep goed (persoonlijk, mail of via het platform) en ik werd in elke stap goed op te hoogte gehouden. De medewerkers antwoorden altijd snel op vragen en denken met je mee. Ik heb vooral met Hanoch en Imani contact gehad en ik kan niet anders zeggen dan dat ze erg kundig en klantvriendelijk zijn.

07 Jan 2026If you like ambiguity, last-minute surprises and an agent who primarily serves other interests, then you're in the right place. We entered into an agreement with Wytske Hupkens for the purchase of an apartment and the sale of our home. Repeatedly, we asked her for something simple: clear timelines and insight into payment moments. This was never delivered. As a customer, you want to know where you stand and apparently this is too high an expectation. For clarity: payment for the apartment could only take place after the sale of our home. This was documented in writing in the mortgage statement and also received by Wytske, verbally indicated as well. Yet later it was acted as if this “wasn't agreed upon”. When the contractor suddenly fulfilled the suspensive conditions (precisely the scenario for which we asked for timelines), Bert van Vulpen appeared on stage to “guide everything properly”. In practice, this mainly meant: the house had to and would be sold. Our position seemed to be of secondary importance. We were given confidence that there “would be a solution” and that we didn’t need to worry. Meanwhile, the interest rate rose sharply from 1.5% to 4.5%, the market worsened, and according to Bert, the selling price had to suddenly drop by 40k-50k. The promised solution eventually came, but surprisingly only a few hours before the suspensive conditions expired. Afterwards, communication became a challenge: emails unanswered, Bert was unreachable by phone. The climax was a WhatsApp message stating that we would “get an answer as soon as possible”. That answer did come, but not from the agent. It came from the contractor’s lawyer. That actually says everything about how these people operate! In the end, we fulfilled our obligations under difficult market conditions. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about this agent. During the process, clear 'games' were played that primarily served other interests than those of us as customers. So don’t leave your power to chance with the so-called number 1 agent of the region! There will be a formal complaint filed with the competent authority, so that our experiences are officially recorded.

07 Sep 2025My son lived happily in a room through PMA Real Estate for over two years. The accommodation was neat and the communication was slow in some cases, but ultimately issues were resolved. The living experience itself was therefore predominantly positive. However, the handling of the lease termination deserves attention and is important for future tenants – especially students who rent jointly – to be aware of. My son formally and correctly terminated his rental agreement, handed over the property without defects, and returned the keys after a final inspection where no damage or arrears were found. Nevertheless, PMA continues to refuse to refund the paid share of the deposit (€750), citing the reason that the other tenant is still residing in the property. Despite multiple neat and legally substantiated requests, substantive responses remained absent. The fact that I repeatedly dealt with changing contact persons – one time Kees, then Tjeerd – did not contribute to clarity or accountability. The email I received as a last response literally read: “I understand that you would like to direct things according to your own hand and good thinking but the real world works differently.” A very unprofessional tone that does not suit a rental organization and certainly not when it comes to students and parents who want to conclude matters correctly. So pay close attention if you are moving into a property with multiple tenants through PMA: the contract is shared, but the deposit is not held per person. This can cost you dearly upon check-out – even if you have correctly terminated, handed over, and paid your own share. In our case, the deposit payment was divided between two people, but upon departure, this is suddenly no longer taken into account. Hopefully, this feedback will lead to improvement in communication and processing in the future. Meanwhile, three weeks have passed, the other resident has also left the property. But we still haven't received the deposit back. Emails are not being answered. Very regrettable and unprofessional. I have therefore reduced the rating to 1 star.

07 Feb 2023I would absolutely not recommend this company! I am surprised to read in the review that there are professionals... It took several weeks before we could live normally in our apartment again (no hot water, broken terrace door, broken heating...). They didn't respond and initially said it could be our fault. We had to solve many problems ourselves. And now they don't even want to refund our deposit for energy bills we have never heard of, which they can’t even pay and which are not in the contract... Very disappointing and such behavior is clearly unreliable for both parties: the tenant or the owner. (We often rent apartments and this is the worst time!!!!)

Because this was not done for the heating and hot water of the property, the landlord correctly charged you that amount for the period you lived there and provided you with all invoices. All other issues you mentioned which are normal for a home have been resolved promptly, but some minor repairs fall under the responsibility of the tenant, as you are the one using the property. This is also clearly stated in the signed rental agreement. Nevertheless, we thank you for your stay as a tenant and for leaving a review, because we always strive to improve our customer service. The process took some time from our side, because we were simultaneously looking for another house, but Fris makelaars has been very helpful throughout the entire process and always had good advice ready when we had questions about something. That took a lot of worry away. The ladies at Fris makelaars also never promised anything nicer than they could deliver and, from what we have experienced, do not participate in the sneaky practices on the current housing market. That gave us a very trustworthy feeling. We hope to not have to engage them for a while, but if it’s necessary then we will definitely knock on their door again at Fris!

He helped her find an apartment that met all her requirements and fit within her budget within a few weeks. I got in touch with him after having viewed apartments for weeks and rejected offers. After two months of searching, I found an apartment that really appealed to me, so I decided to approach Barry and try my luck. Within four days of the collaboration, the offer was accepted. The entire process went smoothly and the real estate agent was present throughout. I can wholeheartedly recommend Barry, because he is transparent, realistic, very knowledgeable and knows almost all real estate agents/notaries in the city, which is very handy during bidding negotiations.

As expected, we ended up in a challenging market, swinging back and forth between making a winning bid and bidding at a reasonable level to justify the mortgage value. Luckily, Jeff managed to talk us out of it and also ensured the other viewings went ahead. The employees seemed uninterested and unprofessional. In addition, my data was handled carelessly. Mistakes were made and I had to provide the same information multiple times, which was very frustrating. This doesn’t exactly inspire confidence, especially when it comes to something important like buying or selling a home. All in all, I would absolutely not recommend this real estate agent. Customer friendliness and carefulness don't seem to be a priority here.
