30 Sep 2025No good experience with this real estate agent. We engaged Vesta to assist us both in the sale of our home and in the purchase of a new home. After initial conversations and one unsuccessful bid on a house, contact with Vesta became less frequent until communication completely stopped. A property profile was supposed to be created for us with suitable houses, but this never got off the ground. We then, after weeks of radio silence, were forced to engage another real estate agent who successfully managed to help us move. Now, a year and a half later, an invoice of 500 euros for cancellation fees has been placed on our mat. Technically/legal correct but it feels easily earned, doesn't it? If you're looking for a real estate agent who can guide you from start to finish, keep looking.

Date unknownVery bad experience with Vesta. Especially the valuation by B. I still have my doubts whether he is a NVM appraiser. He looks in the land registry for surrounding sold homes and immediately has his price ready. He doesn't look at individual aspects that can influence the value of homes at all. Without consultation, he immediately places his report on the NWWI site. Very careless, very un-customer focused and would NOT recommend anyone to do business with him. Make sure you don't have to deal with him, because he will rip you off.

Less than an hour later, Joek was sitting at our kitchen table passionately talking about his approach. He came across as no ordinary agent; he was down-to-earth, sincere, and someone who knows how to get things done. He immediately provided styling and renovation tips that would benefit the sale of our house. After meeting with Joek (who also recommended us see two other agents), we couldn't stop thinking about his approach, vision, and manner. This led us to choose him as our agent. From the moment we started working together, he brought furniture, plants, garden equipment, and carpet from his own store into our house. He even rearranged the rooms and helped with cleaning and decluttering so that everything looked perfect for the photos, which he took himself and had professionally edited. Throughout the entire process, Joek supported us with a smile and a tear in his eye, fostering a wonderful collaboration and friendship. All expectations were more than met, and looking back on it, we can say it was an exceptionally beautiful sales process. He actively listened to my wishes and made sure he screened all apartments before viewing them, which saved us time and energy. He regularly came up with possibilities before I had seen them online. During viewings, he ensured that he focused on all the small but important technical details so that I could focus on my overall opinion of the apartments. He didn't rush and even postponed the process several times due to details I had overlooked. Ultimately, we found the perfect apartment for me in less than two months. And thanks to his market knowledge and negotiation skills, I got a great apartment at a great price without having to pay transfer tax. Finally, Barry checked all the documents to make sure everything was in order, which was enormously important to me since I don't yet speak Dutch. All in all, I am very happy with Barry and I can wholeheartedly recommend him.

Unfortunately, I cannot respond to the reaction of the owner below and wanted to leave it at the bad review, but the response below asks for some clarification, so here’s what happened: - Tel Krop sold a house via bidding - We had the winning bid - Written confirmation from Monique Krop. List of movable assets shared. Notary confirmed. - The notary prepared the documents for the transfer - The party that had offered less in the bidding process still wanted to offer more, while we already had confirmation of the purchase and the documents were with the notary. We were offered a compensation if we would withdraw, because we were formally the buyers. - Ultimately went with the other buyer anyway, without compensating us. Not only ethically very questionable, but also illegal. I think it speaks for itself that you should stay as far away from Monique Krop as possible.

28 Apr 2025If you come from abroad, it can sometimes be difficult to navigate the culture of the housing market, especially during a housing crisis. Thanks to Daan, I was able to buy my first apartment in Amsterdam within 3 months! He advised me on all aspects, such as finding a mortgage advisor, placing offers and viewing the property. He handled the communication and was present until the key handover. My advice for newcomers: you need a lot of help to navigate the market. You can actively search on Funda yourself, but otherwise you need an expert.
