07 Oct 2025No good experience with this real estate agent. We engaged Vesta to assist us both in the sale of our home and in the purchase of a new home. After initial conversations and one unsuccessful bid on a house, contact with Vesta became less frequent until communication completely stopped. A property profile was supposed to be created for us with suitable houses, but this never got off the ground. We then, after weeks of radio silence, were forced to engage another real estate agent who successfully managed to help us move. Now, a year and a half later, an invoice of 500 euros for cancellation fees has been placed on our mat. Technically/legal correct but it feels easily earned, doesn't it? If you're looking for a real estate agent who can guide you from start to finish, keep looking.

Joek is definitely not an average real estate agent. First of all, the way he presents and transforms an apartment is exceptional. From styling to photography, everything is done with such care and taste that the property truly looks spectacular. It immediately distinguishes the property from the rest. Second, his work ethic is excellent. The communication was effortless, relaxed, and he responded incredibly quickly – often via WhatsApp, without any form of a 9-to-5 mindset. Joek is fully available for you, always reachable, proactive, and has an eye for every detail. However, what really struck me was how attentive and caring he is as a person. Even on the day of the key handover, he went out of his way with small gestures – a lunch, a gift – things that made the entire process personal and genuinely caring. Over the course of a few weeks, he became much more than just a real estate agent; he was someone with whom you could discuss things and who you could fully trust. We didn't want to just sell our house to anyone after 28 years, and he understood that perfectly. I found it incredibly exciting, but Martin was there, understood it, and guided the process in a warm and empathetic way. Accessible, connected to who we are, and with an eye for the entire process. Besides Almere, he is very familiar with Lelystad, which was very important to us. We also appreciated that he well supported the buyers of our house because they were very enthusiastic but also overwhelmed because they're so in love with our house. Without any effort, he stood by them as well; that’s what I call a top real estate agent. Martin, thank you for all your good care. You are a real estate agent that I wish every buyer or seller of a house. You really get it.

13 Sep 2024In short: just don't do it! Explanation can be found below. ________________________________________ From A to Z, this process has been very unprofessional. The real estate agent we appointed for the sale, Skender, went on vacation immediately after accepting the offer, without any notification. Afterwards, we were left with his replacement, Remco, and that was a terrible experience all around. Here's a list: 1. Remco never answered when you called and didn't respond to messages -- even the notary mentioned during the sale that Remco is known for being unavailable. 2. Remco also didn't introduce himself after taking over from Skender. He didn't say anything and offered no information about the viewings he had planned. 3. Remco provided false information during the viewings, which has also negatively impacted the selling price of our house. 4. Remco was very rude all around. 5. Remco sold items with the house that were not for sale. 6. When Remco was confronted about this, he said: 'I'm not going to negotiate over a few items.' Ultimately, due to his attitude and unwillingness to advocate for our interests, we were unable to keep our belongings. 7. Remco made agreements with the purchasing party regarding the terms of the sale that were not discussed with us. When the notary tried to call him about this, he -of course- didn't answer either. And so on. When we contacted Skender about the substandard service provided, Skender was very indignant that we were dissatisfied. He did not acknowledge our frustrations and we also experienced no improvement or received any apologies. All in all, there was a huge lack of transparency, accessibility and customer focus. It is absolutely not recommended to work with either of these two men. They are both completely incompetent and unprofessional real estate agents.

07 Feb 2024We were scammed by this real estate agency. We rented an apartment for 2700 (Lindengracht 332), which they touted as recently renovated and beautiful. In reality, this apartment was filthy and disgusting. The walls had black mold everywhere, the furniture was broken, every corner of the apartment was dirty, worn out, and disgusting. After being confronted with the problems, they started lying and blaming my relatives for 'not following the standard procedure', which was completely untrue. Ultimately, we had to hire a lawyer, but we did get our deposit back, but we were still ripped off by an extra €1350 by the greedy landlord who refused to take responsibility for his disgusting apartment.
