She has once again managed to successfully sell a beautiful two-under-one-roof house in Houten-Oost. What truly sets her apart for us is the fact that she made everything as easy as possible for us. She is clear and friendly in her communication and relieved us of so many things, often taking initiative. Even when our administrative paperwork didn't go smoothly, she helped us get it done anyway. Denise is a real estate agent who truly thinks along with her clients and is incredibly flexible and extremely patient! In addition, she was very understanding of our situation and managed to facilitate this process for us in various ways. Despite the emotional burden, we can sell the house with peace of mind to very nice and respectful buyers. Which was really a plus for us. Here too, Denise listened and respected our wish. The house was listed on funda within 1.5 weeks and sold for more than the asking price within 3 days. I sold the house together with my ex-partner, she unfortunately did not leave a good review for these gentlemen, which is a shame. She was simply angry because she had little to say about the sale. I definitely recommend these gentlemen!

13 Sep 2024In short: just don't do it! Explanation can be found below. ________________________________________ From A to Z, this process has been very unprofessional. The real estate agent we appointed for the sale, Skender, went on vacation immediately after accepting the offer, without any notification. Afterwards, we were left with his replacement, Remco, and that was a terrible experience all around. Here's a list: 1. Remco never answered when you called and didn't respond to messages -- even the notary mentioned during the sale that Remco is known for being unavailable. 2. Remco also didn't introduce himself after taking over from Skender. He didn't say anything and offered no information about the viewings he had planned. 3. Remco provided false information during the viewings, which has also negatively impacted the selling price of our house. 4. Remco was very rude all around. 5. Remco sold items with the house that were not for sale. 6. When Remco was confronted about this, he said: 'I'm not going to negotiate over a few items.' Ultimately, due to his attitude and unwillingness to advocate for our interests, we were unable to keep our belongings. 7. Remco made agreements with the purchasing party regarding the terms of the sale that were not discussed with us. When the notary tried to call him about this, he -of course- didn't answer either. And so on. When we contacted Skender about the substandard service provided, Skender was very indignant that we were dissatisfied. He did not acknowledge our frustrations and we also experienced no improvement or received any apologies. All in all, there was a huge lack of transparency, accessibility and customer focus. It is absolutely not recommended to work with either of these two men. They are both completely incompetent and unprofessional real estate agents.

I contacted them because I wanted help determining a good offer for a house, as I naturally want to make an offer that is proportionate to the house. Ultimately came up with an offer that was tens of thousands of euros above the appraisal value and above other bids. Of course, you only find out about that later. I don't understand house prices, so that’s why I engaged a buyer's agent. So yeah, too much trust. But unfortunately, Skender showed 0 reflection and responsibility in this and mainly wants his invoice to be paid.

The first time we were looking for a property in the Netherlands. We weren't even in the Netherlands when we did so. Melvin is a good listener. He listened to all our wishes and requirements, made a shortlist of houses that were on the market, and after the second (online) viewing, we had our first house in a new country. He also knows the market and all the details about it. That helps with the negotiation and bidding process. After living in a rental property for 1.5 years, we decided to buy a home of our own. We knew who to call. Melvin of course :) Here too, he listened carefully to us, gave good advice, and put us in contact with the right people (notary, mortgage advisor, technical inspection etc.). Melvin is patient, responsive and incredibly knowledgeable about the real estate market in Utrecht (that's where we worked with him, and I am sure he is also great in the other places where he works!). We also heartily recommend Melvin to expats. Because we come from abroad, there were many documents, bills, etc. that we did not need to arrange for a rental property. Melvin was able to help us through all of this, and despite the difficult housing market, we were able to find a place that we absolutely love. We highly recommend Melvin's services, and if we ever move or want to buy something, Melvin will be our permanent partner.

When I arrived there, I was lost without information about the building, because there were multiple identical ones. Despite calling him several times, he didn't answer his phone. It took me more than 1 hour to get there by train and he simply doesn't care about people’s time. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.

13 Mar 2025In December, we contacted van Pas Makelaars for an initial consultation; realtor Ellen came to visit us and viewed our property, explaining what the process would be. We were still looking for a new home at the time and planned to wait before selling until we found one. Ultimately, we also used van Pas to help us search for a new home, in which Ellen and especially Stijn fantastically helped us find a new home and negotiate the price! After purchasing our home with realtor Ellen, everything was prepared for the sale; Ellen had created a plan outlining when the photographer would come, when the property would be listed on Funda, and when viewings would take place. Ellen also had an idea of when we would receive the right offer and approximately how much that offer would be. Everything turned out exactly as Ellen planned, from the viewings to the right offer – everything went as predicted! This took a lot of worries off our hands thanks to van Pas, which is a very pleasant feeling when selling your own home! We always had good contact with van Pas; whenever we needed something, we could always call and were quickly assisted - we are super happy with the service from van Pas!

For the sale of my mother's house, we were guided by Hans Konings. He is honest and clear about what can and cannot be done. Very helpful, even with the buying party who did not have a real estate agent. Everything arranged from A to Z. Always responds quickly, even in the evening or on weekends. Always keeps his appointments. In short, I am very satisfied with this real estate agent.

He guided us well through the sales process, and was the only one of the three brokers we had invited who came up with the good idea to have photos taken during our vacation. That pragmatic attitude is characteristic of Hans and decisive in our choice for him. We have not regretted that. Hans adapts easily and is flexible in his approach. He listens well to wishes and then gives good advice. He always responded within a day to our questions and he kept appointments. After some setbacks in our own purchase process, he recommended another skilled purchasing broker, Kersten. Which made us feel enormously helped. We can confirm, as several reviews already say, that Hans is a friendly, honest and skilled broker!

Remmie has years of experience as a real estate agent and appraiser in the local housing market of Utrecht. Not a slick, quick young man, but an involved real estate agent with a positive factor. When it initially didn't go smoothly, Remmie helped keep his head cool. With some patience, and some strategic adjustments to how the property was put on the market, it was still sold quite quickly and for a good amount. Thanks to his good advice and guidance, I have more than earned back the costs of his services. If I ever needed a real estate agent again in the Utrecht region, I would call Remmie.
