04 Feb 2025In a very painful period for us, during which we were forced to sell our family home after the death of our parents, we couldn't wish for a finer real estate agent than Denise. She has once again managed to successfully sell a beautiful two-under-one-roof house in Houten-Oost. What truly sets her apart for us is the fact that she made everything as easy as possible for us. She is clear and friendly in her communication and relieved us of so many things, often taking initiative. Even when our administrative paperwork didn't go smoothly, she helped us get it done anyway. Denise is a real estate agent who truly thinks along with her clients and is incredibly flexible and extremely patient! In addition, she was very understanding of our situation and managed to facilitate this process for us in various ways. Despite the emotional burden, we can sell the house with peace of mind to very nice and respectful buyers. Which was really a plus for us. Here too, Denise listened and respected our wish. All in all, we can only conclude that Denise truly does this work with love, which is clearly reflected in the numbers. I had excellent contact, received quick responses, was always kept informed of progress, and got updates after each viewing by potential buyers. Excellent. My questions via WhatsApp were answered incredibly fast. Prior to listing, a stylist visited my home, and the photos were amazing (is this really my house!?). Jurriaan took the time to look with us at the way that suits us best to sell our house. Open, honest, transparent, with good advice and stress-reducing professionalism, he brought peace of mind into a hectic process. It was a pleasure to meet a real estate agent who saw us as people and did his best to market our house as well and honestly as possible. Whenever we had questions, we could ask them via the WhatsApp group that he created. Due to the short communication lines, we received quick and detailed answers back. Even outside of the standard office opening hours. His service-oriented attitude deserves all praise. Also, the possibility of having a building inspection carried out through him during the sales process is an advantage. Jurriaan brought the sales process to a more than satisfactory end for us, with a touch of humor at the end. We would recommend Romijn Makelaardij (Jurriaan) without reservation to anyone looking for a real estate agent.

21 Jan 2025The impression we got from Jurriaan Romijn is that he only considers his personal financial gain in his decisions. Jurriaan rented out the apartment he purchased to us in 2020, and we jointly decided that the kitchen would be renovated (to increase the rent, it turned out later). He said he would do it himself in 1 week, without taking time off from his work as a cook. It ultimately took an entire month, during which time we were unable to live in the apartment, and still had to pay the rent. The kitchen was built very amateurishly, with extremely many construction defects. For example, the washing machine connection was connected to the hot water pipe, so we would always have to wash at 60 degrees; this was also not repaired after reporting it. This was just one of many annoyances. People can naturally change, but be cautious in your interaction with Mr. Romijn.

Frankly, I don't quite understand why you, some years after the fact (and termination of your rental agreement), are airing your grievance this way and kicking me and my wife while we’re down. However, I kindly ask that you exclude my wife from your review. She is neither owner/landlord nor actively involved in my office (except for administrative work). My office focuses on providing services during the purchase and/or sale of a home and issuing energy labels. Renting is not an activity that I undertake commercially. In your case, it concerned the rental of an apartment that was private property at the time. At that time, the procedure regarding renting and the rental agreement did not go through the office. However, I used a standard rental contract from the CRM in accordance with the requirements of that time and gave you my card so you would have my details. As far as I'm concerned, I neatly compensated you financially for the time you couldn’t use it back then. You were also aware, before the start of the rental period, that the kitchen would be replaced. The kitchen that was in place was indeed really completely worn out. At that time, that was no problem for you at all. That the kitchen wasn't entirely to your taste is a shame, but it doesn’t detract from the fact that the kitchen functions well. It wasn't my first encounter with real estate brokerage either; I had that a few years earlier in Utrecht. Check facts before you use them in your reviews. As far as I'm concerned, a friend of yours already concluded back then that communication between us didn’t go smoothly and that we were both to blame for it. Your friend was right, and I acknowledged that directly at the time. Your review is a good example of that for me.

His good reputation among other real estate agents certainly contributed to that. Henry helped me with the mortgage, insurance and all financial advice. I had a lot of questions because I live abroad, and they were very patient and knowledgeable in their field. I am very grateful to them.

We were well guided and advised during the viewings, bidding process, and the eventual purchase! My partner does not speak fluent Dutch, so it was also very nice that there was room to speak slower Dutch and/or English.

He gives clear and honest feedback and never pushed us or tried to sell us anything, no 'sales pitches'. The people at Visie are also lovely to deal with. They work very professionally, respond quickly, and are helpful. In addition, it's clear what you’re signing up for when entering into the assignment, no nasty surprises. For a next assignment we will definitely return to them.

02 Aug 2024After a pleasant introduction, the contact with Ard always ran smoothly. During the viewings, there was an app group for us and the agency of Visie, so we could quickly switch. A nice extra was that drone images of the area were made, and that much work was taken out of our hands. For example: measuring the house was not entirely correct, the real estate agent arranged for us to ensure it was correct.
