13 Mar 2025In December, we contacted van Pas Makelaars for an initial consultation; realtor Ellen came to visit us and viewed our property, explaining what the process would be. We were still looking for a new home at the time and planned to wait before selling until we found one. Ultimately, we also used van Pas to help us search for a new home, in which Ellen and especially Stijn fantastically helped us find a new home and negotiate the price! After purchasing our home with realtor Ellen, everything was prepared for the sale; Ellen had created a plan outlining when the photographer would come, when the property would be listed on Funda, and when viewings would take place. Ellen also had an idea of when we would receive the right offer and approximately how much that offer would be. Everything turned out exactly as Ellen planned, from the viewings to the right offer – everything went as predicted! This took a lot of worries off our hands thanks to van Pas, which is a very pleasant feeling when selling your own home! We always had good contact with van Pas; whenever we needed something, we could always call and were quickly assisted - we are super happy with the service from van Pas!

23 Nov 2024Via Drieklomp real estate, a beautiful plot of land was offered for the construction of a new house on a site familiar to us. However, we were one day too late, due to vacation, to submit a motivation letter. We had also missed the open day but we already knew the plot well from our walks. Drieklomp was responsive to our (great) interest and under the condition that we would deliver our motivation within a few hours, we could participate. To cut a long story short, we were selected for the motivation interview with the client and then received via Drieklomp that we had a good chance. Our dream came true, the client awarded us the plot! As thanks for the mediation, we asked Drieklomp to sell our house. Partly due to the beautiful drone footage of our house and the surrounding area, the first bidder also became the final buyer. And the price was good. As far as we are concerned a success story.

Like in the entire brokerage industry, I sometimes miss proactive guidance, especially in the phase between the (planned) viewing and any bidding. This could for example be achieved by contacting briefly the day after the viewing: what did you think of it, are we going to bid, if so how quickly does that need to happen, etc. But that may also have been our inexperience with h…
