13 Sep 2024In short: just don't do it! Explanation can be found below. ________________________________________ From A to Z, this process has been very unprofessional. The real estate agent we appointed for the sale, Skender, went on vacation immediately after accepting the offer, without any notification. Afterwards, we were left with his replacement, Remco, and that was a terrible experience all around. Here's a list: 1. Remco never answered when you called and didn't respond to messages -- even the notary mentioned during the sale that Remco is known for being unavailable. 2. Remco also didn't introduce himself after taking over from Skender. He didn't say anything and offered no information about the viewings he had planned. 3. Remco provided false information during the viewings, which has also negatively impacted the selling price of our house. 4. Remco was very rude all around. 5. Remco sold items with the house that were not for sale. 6. When Remco was confronted about this, he said: 'I'm not going to negotiate over a few items.' Ultimately, due to his attitude and unwillingness to advocate for our interests, we were unable to keep our belongings. 7. Remco made agreements with the purchasing party regarding the terms of the sale that were not discussed with us. When the notary tried to call him about this, he -of course- didn't answer either. And so on. When we contacted Skender about the substandard service provided, Skender was very indignant that we were dissatisfied. He did not acknowledge our frustrations and we also experienced no improvement or received any apologies. All in all, there was a huge lack of transparency, accessibility and customer focus. It is absolutely not recommended to work with either of these two men. They are both completely incompetent and unprofessional real estate agents.

03 Sep 2025Do not have an appraisal report prepared through this broker. The appraiser is very passive in his communication, which gives you the strong feeling of being led on. Only after 1.5 weeks was my renovation specification looked at, where I was told that it still had to be adjusted. After that, it took another week before the report finally arrived. Furthermore, there are many contradictions in the report, making the report seem very unprofessional. In short: this broker is an absolute no-go!

Date unknownYou are bombarded with bills as soon as you want to leave your rental property (€2500). Things like a floor and extractor fan that you took over from the previous resident they just give away to the next resident, for which I had to pay €300 myself. The owner of this calls eventually and says that I supposedly said verbally that it could be given away for free, which is of course completely untrue since I had to borrow money from others to be able to pay all the ''fines''. Also, I literally have everything in email stating that this remains for takeover. As a single tenant, you no longer have any chance of saving nowadays but van Scherpenzeel doesn't care about that. Despite having everything in black and white, they still go by what you supposedly said verbally, which I would never say anyway since I desperately needed that money after all the bills I received from them. Afterwards, the owner raises his voice and says that you are lying. So I could whistle for my money. Never been so ripped off by a so-called professional company. Never do business with this company, pocket fillers!
