Remmie has years of experience as a real estate agent and appraiser in the local housing market of Utrecht. Not a slick, quick young man, but an involved real estate agent with a positive factor. When it initially didn't go smoothly, Remmie helped keep his head cool. With some patience, and some strategic adjustments to how the property was put on the market, it was still sold quite quickly and for a good amount. Thanks to his good advice and guidance, I have more than earned back the costs of his services. If I ever needed a real estate agent again in the Utrecht region, I would call Remmie.

She has once again managed to successfully sell a beautiful two-under-one-roof house in Houten-Oost. What truly sets her apart for us is the fact that she made everything as easy as possible for us. I was called twice for two different houses and the person on the phone was quite irritated when I asked her to give me 1 minute to consult with my friend about the times. If I compare other brokers with this company, it's not the best experience. They tried to call my friend for my review, while I was the one who signed for the houses and they had my number. I hope you respect my point of view.

Date unknownIn the past, I got into serious trouble with Niek Maathuis and received a 10 percent penalty due to a property purchase that was signed subject to conditions. He left me in the lurch as a buyer at that time. Incidentally, I won that lawsuit. But Niek has left me with a lingering aftertaste and a scar. My trust in this real estate agent is completely gone. I wouldn't even give Niek 1 star with his smooth talk, but he doesn't understand anything legally. Until today, no apologies received, truly worthless. And this real estate agent never heard from again!!! Finally, after so many years, called the next day with apologies, and all of that due to 1 review, but are you going to say that you don’t recognize my story? Is that your way of resolving things properly?

30 Jul 2020If you are looking for a brokerage that doesn’t shy away from lying and cheating to sell your house, then you've come to the right place with Punt Makelaars. We bought a house from this brokerage. First of all, they blatantly (and deliberately) lied to explicit questions about construction plans in the area, claiming there were none. This while the seller later indicated that they had clearly reported this to the brokerage. Subsequently, after the purchase, we discover that there is an error of half a meter in the 'officially measured floor plan'! Complain about this, and you will never hear back from them. I wouldn't wish this gang of scoundrels on anyone!

25 Mar 2025We have collaborated with Melvin twice. Both times it was a great experience, and most importantly, Melvin helped us both times in finding the right house for us. The first time we were looking for a property in the Netherlands. We weren't even in the Netherlands when we did so. Melvin is a good listener. He listened to all our wishes and requirements, made a shortlist of houses that were on the market, and after the second (online) viewing, we had our first house in a new country. He also knows the market and all the details about it. That helps with the negotiation and bidding process. After living in a rental property for 1.5 years, we decided to buy a home of our own. We knew who to call. Melvin of course :) Here too, he listened carefully to us, gave good advice, and put us in contact with the right people (notary, mortgage advisor, technical inspection etc.). After two months of searching, we found a house for ourselves. Melvin played a crucial role in the bidding process and helped us be selected as buyers. We are now enjoying our dream home. 25 Oct 2024I would no longer be able to recommend Melvin. My wife and I have lived in many different cities around the world, and never before have we had a better experience with a rental service. Melvin is patient, responsive and incredibly knowledgeable about the real estate market in Utrecht (that's where we worked with him, and I am sure he is also great in the other places where he works!). We also heartily recommend Melvin to expats. Because we come from abroad, there were many documents, bills, etc. that we did not need to arrange for a rental property. Melvin was able to help us through all of this, and despite the difficult housing market, we were able to find a place that we absolutely love. We highly recommend Melvin's services, and if we ever move or want to buy something, Melvin will be our permanent partner.

25 Jul 2024Worst service ever. Melvin scheduled a viewing with me and in the email he did not mention the door number of the building/apartment. When I arrived there, I was lost without information about the building, because there were multiple identical ones. Despite calling him several times, he didn't answer his phone. It took me more than 1 hour to get there by train and he simply doesn't care about people’s time. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.

Hello Sandra, I think that next time you should carefully check your email before writing a review. Because on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 7:22:49 PM we sent you an email with the complete address. So instead of shouting that we have the 'Worst Service Ever', I think it's better to first check your own records. I have sent you proof of the email. And yes, during viewings I do not answer the phone. Because we hold private viewings with all our candidates, my phone is then on silent. Good luck finding a new apartment.
