Remmie has years of experience as a real estate agent and appraiser in the local housing market of Utrecht. Not a slick, quick young man, but an involved real estate agent with a positive factor. When it initially didn't go smoothly, Remmie helped keep his head cool. With some patience, and some strategic adjustments to how the property was put on the market, it was still sold quite quickly and for a good amount. Thanks to his good advice and guidance, I have more than earned back the costs of his services. If I ever needed a real estate agent again in the Utrecht region, I would call Remmie.

The guidance during viewings (including technical matters) was very pleasant; something we didn't have to worry about was 'can we see ourselves living here'. The quick and informal contact in the group app was also very nice and convenient. When we came to the decision to make an offer, we received advice on the possible appraisal values and a promising bid; together with DEX Makelaars, we ultimately found our own home within 4 months. She has once again managed to successfully sell a beautiful two-under-one-roof house in Houten-Oost. What truly sets her apart for us is the fact that she made everything as easy as possible for us. Through Google review scores, we came across Mooi Wonen Makelaar Houten. From the very first contact with the owner Denise, we felt that we were in good hands. She never made us feel like it was a routine job. She took the time and – with a personal touch – knew exactly what was good for us and our specific property. The guidance during and after the sale is also really top… Ultimately, the house was sold very quickly and with great success. Thanks to Denise, among other things, we are off the housing market for now, but Mooi Wonen Makelaars Houten is an Absolute recommendation for anyone who is going to take this step.

28 Nov 2025We sold two houses (and bought 1 house) through the mediation of Van Beumer. Actually, it went very smoothly; the organization works professionally and with a portal in which you place all the data needed. The real estate agent does that (where possible) as well. The most convenient thing is, of course, that you can call if you lose the thread for a moment. If everything goes well - as in my case - I think that real estate agents have a nice job. Why four stars: actually only because the service photographer (as far as I know, working for his own account, not for Beumer) didn't notice some stupid things that did appear on the presentation of my house. Ultimately, it didn't cause any problems but made everything a bit more exciting. Because you never know how everything goes.

10 Aug 2025Let me just come right out with it: if you're considering taking out a mortgage with Tulp Hypotheken, do yourself a favor and run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. This club turns an already stressful situation into a full-blown nightmare. Especially if you – oh, heavens – have a student loan from DUO. Then all the red lights at Tulp start flashing as if you have a criminal past. My experience with Tulp Hypotheken has gone anything but smoothly. While other banks can help you within reasonable time frames and with logical documents, it seems like at Tulp they take a special pleasure in asking endless, meaningless questions. And I mean truly meaningless. You almost think you have to undergo a security check before getting a mortgage. To give an example: I was seriously asked why the amount of my DUO loan was exactly that amount. Uh... because DUO determined it that way? Or was I supposed to come up with a story around it? At some point, I started wondering if I wouldn't be better off submitting my mortgage application to the police. They at least ask fewer questions. And if you're already doing that, maybe you'll get approval from the Marechaussee even faster than from this tulip grower in mortgage land. But without kidding: the communication is sluggish, the response time is slow, and it seems like they're not set up for the reality of young people with student loans. You'd think a party in 2025 would know that a large part of the Netherlands has had a DUO loan, but no – at Tulp it's apparently a reason for panic. Your student loan automatically makes you a risk factor of national proportions there. The climax? In the end, I stopped the application. Too much hassle. Too much uncertainty. And above all: no trust that this is a mortgage lender you'd want to tie your long-term financial obligations to. My advice: just go to a real bank. One where professionals work who know how a mortgage process should actually go. ING, Rabobank, ABN AMRO – name your favorite. All are way better than this. In short: if you want sleepless nights, nonsensical demands and have your mortgage dreams crumble under the pretext of 'Tulp policy', then you should definitely knock on their door. For everyone who values clarity, speed and professionalism: please forget Tulp Hypotheken.

We had provided the documents they indicated, which Tulp already has extremely high requirements for. So this process really took an incredibly long time. This was accepted and approved. Then you still get an email saying it’s not complete and then you can see it coming. The process starts again. This is all related to risk for Tulp. A portion of the risk is calculated in the mortgage interest, and apparently it's much lower with Tulp. Our mortgage advisor even gets a headache from this party... At the end of the line, you are a starter who, for example, is still finishing a traineeship or starting up in another way. Stay away from this provider, it’s pure time wasting.

If I call them, they say that a specialist will call me back, but that never happens. I'm still trying to get someone on the phone and in the meantime I'm looking into whether I can switch to another, more customer-friendly mortgage lender. My advice: absolutely avoid them.
