We hadden een fijne sparringpartner aan Chris; hij gaf ons veel waardevolle informatie. Het was ook erg prettig dat hij bij elke bezichtiging aanwezig was. Hij keek met een bouwkundige blik naar de woningen en wist ons van extra inzichten te voorzien. Omdat dit ons eerste huis was en we nog weinig kennis hadden van de woningmarkt, was zijn begeleiding extra waardevol. Dankzij Chris hebben we uiteindelijk een prachtig huis kunnen vinden.

We sold two houses (and bought 1 house) through the mediation of Van Beumer. Actually, it went very smoothly; the organization works professionally and with a portal in which you place all the data needed. The real estate agent does that (where possible) as well. The most convenient thing is, of course, that you can call if you lose the thread for a moment. If everything goes well - as in my case - I think that real estate agents have a nice job. Why four stars: actually only because the service photographer (as far as I know, working for his own account, not for Beumer) didn't notice some stupid things that did appear on the presentation of my house. Ultimately, it didn't cause any problems but made everything a bit more exciting. Because you never know how everything goes.

Poor communication, it's the only company that didn't call us to let us know whether the house was already sold or not. It was via e-mail. I was called twice for two different houses and the person on the phone was quite irritated when I asked her to give me one minute to discuss with my friend about the times. When comparing other real estate agents with this company, it's not the best experience. They tried to call my friend for my review, even though I was the one who signed for the houses and had my number. I hope you respect my point of view.

Really extremely bad in their communication throughout the entire process. They set deadlines themselves and then, after the deadline, say that it has been shifted. They leave you as a customer completely in the dark, even if you chase them yourself. The customer service is friendly, but ultimately have few concrete answers. I partly understand it, but that gives the organization as a whole a sloppy and unprofessional image. Changes to plans or circumstances can always happen, but at least communicate this in a timely manner. Personally, they come across as very unreliable and unsympathetic this way, and I have little good words for that.

We bought a new-build home through Beumer in 2021, where we recently moved. We were selected in the 2nd round, which created some time pressure when choosing options. Moreover, all of this happened during the holiday period (construction holiday), so availability was also difficult. Initially, contact was good and our questions were answered quickly. File knowledge was unfortunately mediocre; simple questions such as ‘where do we drive onto the parking area?’, ‘can we park in front of the door?’ and 'are the neighbors building an extension?' were unknown or even answered incorrectly. After we signed, the level decreased further and we noticed that the broker seemed to be finished. When we asked when we would have a meeting with the contractor, we were simply told ‘I can’t reach them, they are on vacation’. Ultimately, after repeatedly insisting, we got an appointment, but not until 2 weeks after signing. Because we only had a total of 5 weeks to complete everything (kitchen + bathroom + toilet + all options), this was very slow. As far as we are concerned, therefore, a mediocre experience from something that is still a highlight in your life. Given the tight market at the time, perhaps not surprising, but nevertheless a disappointment. You don’t feel like a customer but prey.

In the past, I got into serious trouble with Niek Maathuis and received a 10 percent penalty due to a property purchase that was signed subject to conditions. He left me in the lurch as a buyer at that time. Incidentally, I won that lawsuit. But Niek has left me with a lingering aftertaste and a scar. My trust in this real estate agent is completely gone. I wouldn't even give Niek 1 star with his smooth talk, but he doesn't understand anything legally. Until today, no apologies received, truly worthless. For the purchase and sale of homes, we engaged Beumer. I thought I was in good hands, after all they are one of the largest real estate agents in LR-De Meern and surrounding area. We bought a house, a beautiful house, but I think that at that time we paid more than its value. Anyway, it was still a great experience. After that, we had to sell our old house, but we didn't receive enough guidance. We had photos of poor quality, we had an incorrect pricing policy etc. etc. We couldn’t sell it with them!
