Date unknownMy lawyer has repeatedly pointed out to this broker the legal regulations, which were ignored. Three times I received an incorrect order of services with numerous errors, including even a wrong house number. An order even crossed out with pen and scribbles. A price tag was stuck on the property without consultation, with the answer being that I wasn't a realtor, didn't understand, and had to have a structural survey carried out at my expense. Finally, the association NVM was brought in, then it became too hot for this broker under his feet and he threw in the towel. I hope Mike Gorter is satisfied with putting a 6-year-old child on the street and then moving into the property himself without taking over and preventing the sale. In short, a very bad realtor, (apparently I'm not the only one see review facebook). Arrogant, Unreliable, doesn't keep appointments. Scammers!!!! A warned person counts for two.

25 Aug 2025I would not choose Adriaanssen real estate again and/or recommend it to others. The house was ultimately sold for a good price, but the process leading up to that was incredibly messy. This was my first time selling a house, so everything was exciting, and you hope to be guided a bit. Forget about that. Listed: 1) unwilling to take the time for you. 2) repeatedly late for viewings. 3) important VVE/mortgage rules not in order, causing the sale to fall through once and almost not happening the second time. 4) Too easy in communication and brushes things aside. A lot of 'it will be alright'. But sometimes... it doesn't work out. Conclusion: messy and certainly didn’t provide stress-free support for a first sale.

The real estate agent really guided me well and also the buyers, who needed a bit longer to get approval for their financing. 07 Feb 2025While the housing market is currently a bit overheated, Klaas Bos has remained very down-to-earth. We can heartily recommend him as a buyer's agent for the North Holland region. What a pleasant, calm, honest and knowledgeable buyer's agent. Communication always went smoothly and easily; Klaas takes good time to review documents with you and to help you take off your rose-tinted glasses when necessary. Although our search area shifted during the process, he was always willing to do research for us on the houses we found, so that we could make a well-considered choice. They responded very quickly to you with the procedural requirements and all necessary assistance. 2. They did their utmost to help me expedite the check-in date (this is not something you would expect from a real estate agency). 3. The documentation process went very smoothly via emails, and the check-in went without any problems. 4. They helped with the connections for water, electricity, and gas, and the house also had wifi. I only had to move in; everything else was already arranged. When I was looking for a home, many real estate agents barely responded at all, because many people are looking for a home and it's easy to forget to respond to emails. However, the team from Orange Wonen always responded and let you know how they felt about the house. I greatly appreciate this team. But I found a house on their website and everything happened via email. No pain 🥳. They also helped me with gas, water, electricity, and internet.

25 Nov 2021It is well known how difficult it is to get a non-automatic response from a real estate agent when looking for a home in Amsterdam. Orange Wonen, however, responded immediately after they received our application for one of their offered homes. Irina was the person who guided us through the entire process and helped us actually obtain the property from the landlord. We met them just as we were almost losing hope of finding a home. We cannot thank them enough. When our current contract expires, we know that we don't have to worry about it. We have a real estate agent who will help us again in finding the home that best suits us.

25 Nov 2021Today I received my keys for a rental property from Orange Wonen Makelaars. It doesn't happen often that I feel compelled to write a review, but dealing with Irina and her husband was truly fantastic. After living abroad for several years, I was nervous about renting and had noticed that most real estate agents had a rather aloof attitude towards my needs. It was essentially take it or leave it and virtually no understanding of what I was trying to achieve. During the viewing of the apartment we subsequently rented, we were initially shown around by Alex, who I believe is the owner of Orange Wonen Makerlaars together with Irina who helped us make a well-considered decision without any pressure. Her attention to detail and relaxed manner was a pleasant change from other agents we had met and her advice was well thought out and unbiased. From the moment of the first viewing of the apartment and ultimately receiving the keys. All in all, a true pleasure to deal with.

25 Nov 2020Reaction: This is already the fourth time you are getting over it. Now we're at least in public, so people can get to know you better. 1. 'There is much more demand than supply': That's why that advertisement is still open (after 1 month and 10 days). I see the demand clearly. What you're doing is making a loss on that specific house. You'd rather let it stand empty than rent it out. This is clearly a huge loss. 2. 'Landlords want a guarantee that they can collect the rent and that guarantee you cannot give at this moment': So for the fourth time: A down payment for 6 months + 2 months deposit is not a guarantee? An employment contract (which can be terminated etc.) is more of a guarantee than ADVANCE PAYMENT? I hope you understand the situation. You can also be guaranteed by the contract. For example: So sad to see that even rich people or lottery winners have trouble finding a house, while they have no job but a lot of money (assuming they want to rent...). 3. 'We try to help all housing seekers as much as possible, but we can't perform miracles.': Yes, we felt how helpful you were. The clear willingness to pay is no miracle that you need to perform. What you should do is sell, but what you actually do is 0. Thank you for your wish, which has been successful because we did not waste our precious time on Orange Wonen Real Estate Agents.

25 Nov 2020Irina: Not helpful at all. The worst experience an expat can have. Better to talk to someone else. No employment contract? You cannot get housing, even if you offer to pay 3-6 months in advance (6 months is often a minimum rental period). Prepayment = YOU GET THE MONEY. Employment contract = ? Is it a guarantee? That might be the case, but a better guarantee than paying upfront? By the way: the advertisement is still open (after 1 month and 10 days), despite the fact that 'many people inquire'. Also: the advertisement is quite flawed, I already had many questions... No real explanation for the rejection, I felt a bit discriminated against. Irina, 'the true professional', is and remains losing reliable tenants. That's bad for business, isn't it? I sympathize with the landlord. I hope you are the recipient, Irina, you still have much to learn about this profession.

They are always willing to provide detailed answers to our questions within an impressive time frame. Dealing with rental agencies in the Netherlands can be very difficult and it's almost impossible to get the right attention, but with Orange Wonen I feel that they know there is also a life on the other side and therefore they will always be my first choice if I need to rent or buy another apartment/house.

25 Oct 2025Simply the best real estate agent ever! Over 6 years ago, David sold our home and we were already extremely satisfied back then. So this time there was no doubt in our minds that we wanted to hire him again as our agent. He has extensive knowledge of the real estate market, is very professional, acts quickly, always keeps his promises, and calls regularly with updates. At the same time, it feels very familiar to me; he takes personal circumstances into account, gives sound advice, and is also very honest. His strategy as an agent is superb, and we are really mega satisfied with him and his team! Within 1.5 weeks our home was sold (the first time around too). So do yourself a favor and hire De Makelaers! They deserve top marks in every way (or better yet, double the score!).

Date unknownI found the communication with this selling agent quite disappointing. Their language came across as unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. A little friendliness and respect work wonders – especially in real estate, where trust and clear communication are essential. I hope they will reflect on this and consider adjusting their tone in future interactions. EDIT: Good communication is crucial in real estate. Unfortunately, we were not treated professionally by this agent. I initially didn't want to reveal too many details, but now I feel that I must. When we presented the result of our offer, the agent insulted and laughed at us by saying we had the lowest bid, and even if it had been the highest, we wouldn’t win anything from them – he literally laughed at us. When we asked for the reason, he continued to insult us by saying how bad and unreliable we are. Actually, it didn't start there. He also discriminated against us during the viewing. He didn’t take us seriously and only paid attention to others. He even made a homophobic comment, simply because we are a married gay couple. The way we were treated is unacceptable, and instead of apologizing, they chose to lie in their public response. Just to clarify what really happened with the first apartment: we had the highest bid but were not accepted. The agent said that they didn’t trust our financial situation and asked for extra documents. Because we couldn't deliver what they requested on time, we had to withdraw our offer. But now they are trying to make it seem as if we simply changed our minds and are unreliable. We want to be clear: we could have withdrawn our bid without giving a reason before signing the contract. We acted in good faith, and it is enormously disappointing to see the situation twisted like this.

Your offer was accepted by the seller and we had to inform the other interested parties that their bids were not successful. A day later, however, you expressed serious doubts about the property and withdrew your offer. This was of course disappointing for the seller, but it can happen. Two weeks later, you made another bid on a different property in the same street and the same complex. The broker then asked why you submitted another bid, since you recently expressed doubts about similar properties in the same apartment building. This time your bid was not the highest, and the seller decided to accept another bid. You stated that you were surprised that the broker brought up the recent cancellation. However, we believe this is a justified question. As brokers, we are obliged to investigate potential buyers so that we can advise our clients which offer is most suitable to accept.
