Unprofessional and unreachable, and they don't keep appointments regarding the viewing today. My husband had already seen the property but I was at the hospital and wasn't allowed to come and look until a week later. And emails that he needs income information for today's appointment and doesn't pick up the phone again. Very unprofessional!

Via HousingXL (now Bricks Twente) I found an apartment in Almelo 6 years ago! Rick responded very quickly and made the whole process very easy and smooth. Rick was always happy to help when I had problems with the apartment (I've had more than 6 years of problems with the heating system, shower tap, toilet flush, etc.). I once lost my keys and Rick was very kind to help me immediately with his spare key! I would definitely recommend Rick if you want to rent an apartment in Twente! Thanks for everything Rik!

Multiple messages regarding a property. Without any response
A few weeks ago we saw a rental property that we were interested in. We contacted the real estate agent via their own website. But after a full week, we still received no response. So we sent an email, tried to call, and attempted to contact them via Facebook Chat. Almost a week later, we finally received a reply stating that we could come for a viewing. The viewing itself went well and we have no negative comments about it. However, what we do find objectionable is that we informed them via email on the same evening that we were interested in the apartment, as agreed. And we also included a few extra questions. We received nothing back regarding this and later had to see on the website that the apartment had already been rented out. We at least expected a reply stating that we hadn't been selected. Very unprofessional to hear nothing from you at all and leave us waiting. In short: - Difficult to contact - Doesn’t respond if you haven’t been chosen
Rented a house in Enschede via Bricks Twente for 1.5 years. Very friendly and honest people. Very helpful and provide quick service if there is something wrong with the property, or if you have questions. Can highly recommend this real estate agent!

I have rented out my apartment through Housing XL for several years and I can wholeheartedly recommend Rick and his team. They are professional, responsive and will always do their utmost to provide you with the best service.
My experience: we paid 300 euros for the mediation costs but did not receive fair service. Finally, HousingXL Twente admits in the email that no inspection report was made in 2015 when I moved in (but it should have been there as stated in the contract). Because there was no evidence to compare the condition of the apartment, Housing XL directly booked our full deposit (575 euros) with the landlord without informing me and refused to resolve the problem further. Sorry, but if you do business like this, I must write an honest review online to warn people to be careful with their deposit and with their selection when choosing a housing agency.
