Good enough

I was looking for an apartment in Enschede a few months before summer. I contacted several real estate agents who reacted very badly, were not transparent and had no respect for their customers. The two ladies from Twents Vast were however completely different. First of all, they show respect for you as a person, with their way of speaking and acting. It was very easy to make a viewing appointment and we rented the apartment that we had seen. There were a few technical problems with the apartment, because it was a bit older. Anne was however very helpful and solved all these problems quickly. She even kept an eye on whether the technician would come or not to fix the problem. Enschede is a student city with many students and limited housing, so renting an apartment is for many people a big challenge and stress. Many real estate agents act as if they are doing you a favor by doing their job, and have no understanding for customer service (read my other review for another agency). I highly recommend Twents Vast to landlords and tenants to work with them, given my positive experience. Addition June 2024: We had to move out of the apartment because the contract was for two years. The experience with the inspection was also pleasant. We left the apartment in good condition. The apartment was very old, so they were not sure if many defects were caused by us, but the video I had just recorded when we moved in two years ago helped a lot. They paid back the deposit directly after we had moved out.

Studio used as temporary living space, fully furnished including refrigerator and use of a washing machine and all the necessities you need to get through the day.

Due to work in Twente, I rented a studio for a long time on the Wierdensestraat in Almelo. It turned out very well. The layout of the studio is perfect, everything you need is there. If something happens, it's quickly resolved by TwentsVast. Emails and phone calls are responded to very quickly and correctly. Your privacy is respected; if something needs to happen in your studio, permission is always requested. The 'check out' process was also fine. Should I ever have to be in Twente for work again for a longer period of time, I will definitely rent here again.

Very satisfied with the treatment we received from Anne. She was very attentive, clear and helpful in solving any maintenance problems in the apartment and answered our questions about the service. The apartment that we rented was very well located and the furniture was in very good condition.

I lived in one of the studios for a total of 6 months due to an internship in the Almelo area and I was very satisfied! The room is large enough for one person, is modern, has a great location and is fully furnished. It's perfect if you need a place to stay for a few months or if you need time to find something for the long term. Moreover, it's directly above a gym, which was a big plus for me. Moreover, I met great people who eventually became good friends. Should there be any small problems, the communication was no problem at all. Carolijn was always very friendly and helped me quickly. I would definitely recommend this place! ☺️ If someone who didn't know anyone came to Almelo, I can say that Twents Vast B.V. made my start very easy.

Het bedrijf regelt alles zeer professioneel, de kamers zijn goed ingericht, de locatie is erg strategisch, de faciliteiten zijn goed, enzovoort. De huur is redelijk betaalbaar, maar gezien de grootte van de kamer vind ik het een behoorlijke prijs voor Nederland. Ook de communicatie en transparantie zijn een groot pluspunt. Al met al een prettige samenwerking!

Friendly staff, but it was very dirty when we moved in and when we told them that something was broken, their excuse was that it's an old house. The toilet was clogged for a few weeks before they fixed it and we had a very old washing machine that also had some issues. It took a long time before we got help and the machine could be replaced.

I rented a studio in Almelo via Twents Vast B.V. and I can definitely recommend the office. Affordable, professional service and Carlijn was always reachable and helpful.

I have nothing but good to say about this office! I rented an apartment with two bedrooms in Enschede for 26 months while working in Almelo and never had any problems. One time there was a problem with the front door key and that was quickly and efficiently resolved after I contacted them. For your information: inspections are also carried out with notice, but that also went smoothly. During the time I lived at the address, I had several housemates and it was also no problem to adjust the lease agreement upon request. All in all, I was satisfied with the service provided.

We rented a studio for about a year from TwentsVast in Almelo. It was a nice, compact and fully furnished place. We got all the necessary help from Carlijn and Anne during our stay. The check-in and check-out process went smoothly. If you clean the studio thoroughly upon departure, no costs will be charged. In our case, we got the full deposit back. The only disappointment about the studio was that there was no bell for the building/apartment. Because of this, we missed many parcel deliveries. Apart from this small issue, we had a good experience and I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

I rented a studio for six months. The studio was beautiful and clean. Small problems were quickly resolved. They received my recommendation!

The worst brokerage agency I have ever dealt with. The two ladies are very unprofessional and do not speak kindly. They always try to take your money, and when checking out, I am 100% certain that you will not get your full deposit back because they always find something. I had to pay more than 200 euros because they let a cleaning company clean the house for 5 hours, which resulted in an invoice I had to pay. The cleaning company they hire is also nearby in Enschede. Food for thought! I am not someone who writes reviews, but most people encounter these kinds of people when they come to the Netherlands for the first time and this is what they will experience. It's not very welcoming and very demotivating (for students coming to study in the Netherlands). I hope they work on their customer service and try to be friendlier towards staff. We are all people trying to do better.

The organization does not really help if problems arise

De beste optie als je in Almelo moet verblijven! Ze zijn professioneel!

Samen met mijn verloofde hebben we ongeveer 8 maanden een studio aan de Wierdensestraat in Almelo gehuurd. De studio was voldoende ingericht voor een modern stel om te wonen en te ontspannen na een lange werkdag. De beheerder was vriendelijk en professioneel in de communicatie en bij eventuele problemen met het appartement (zoals het vervangen van een lamp). Ondanks het feit dat de bank beschadigd raakte door de zon en de hoge temperaturen in de zomer (het was nogal benauwd in de kamer), had de beheerder begrip voor normale slijtage in deze situatie. We zouden 5 sterren geven, ware het niet dat de ligging van de kamer en de ramen met uitzicht op het nabijgelegen treinstation, vooral in de zomer (lawaaiig), nogal onprettig waren. De kamers aan de kant van de parkeerplaats zouden veel rustiger zijn. Al met al kan ik de studio aanbevelen aan elk stel of alleenstaande die op zoek is naar een tijdelijke accommodatie.

Ik ben erg tevreden over mijn korte verblijf (2 maanden) in de studio in de Wierdensestraat in Almelo. Alles was prima. De twee dames van het bedrijf waren vriendelijk, behulpzaam en werkten snel. Hartelijk dank.

Ik heb de studio in de Wierdensestraat in Almelo gehuurd en was er erg blij mee. Ik ben student aan de Universiteit Twente en dit was de perfecte plek voor mij. De studio was volledig gemeubileerd en de locatie was uitstekend. Het treinstation lag aan de overkant van de straat en de supermarkt was op minder dan 15 minuten loopafstand. Deze studio is perfect voor iedereen die werkt of studeert in de buurt van Almelo, Hengelo en Enschede. Wat betreft de communicatie met het verhuurbedrijf, die verliep zeer vlot, professioneel en beleefd. Ik heb hierover geen enkel probleem ondervonden. Het enige minpuntje was dat het contract maar zes maanden duurde en ik midden in het semester zat, maar ze hebben het op mijn verzoek zonder problemen met nog eens zes maanden verlengd, wat erg handig voor me was, anders was het een gedoe geweest. Kortom, ik ben zeer tevreden over dit verhuurbedrijf en zou het zeker aanraden om via hen te huren.

I have tried on multiple occasions during office hours to visit their office, but there was no one there.

The condition of this room was a nightmare: the cement on the walls was crumbling and other walls were full of holes, which was not according to the contract. The room is made of insulation material, there is an illegal lack of window space and there is no attention whatsoever to fire safety, again illegally. Moreover, Twents Vast claims that nothing is wrong and that I should resolve it with my housemates if I don't find it pleasant. The room is the worst ever and the service is non-existent. Do not rent from this company, they will ruin you.

To begin with - I have no idea where all those negative reviews come from. I don't deny their honesty, but my experience with Twents Vast was just very good. The communication with their real estate agents always went quickly and smoothly, and all the people I had contact with spoke very good English (although that's not a surprise in the Netherlands). I just found them to be professional and nice people. As a student, I rented a house for 5 months on the Esstraat (with two other friends) - reasonably furnished, clean and very practical with a backyard (and shed!). The price was very acceptable - as far as I could see, it didn't really differ from other comparable houses in Enschede, so I also have no complaints about that. As for the other reviews: I didn't have any unexpected visits. It's also worth mentioning that I got my full deposit back. I can recommend that real estate office, because my experience was just problem-free and smooth.

Toen we net in Nederland aankwamen, zochten we bij verschillende makelaarskantoren naar een woning. Anne en Carljin hebben ons enorm geholpen om snel een woning te vinden. Het proces verliep soepel en we konden er na één dag al intrekken. Ook het uitchecken ging snel en gemakkelijk. We kregen onze borg terug, omdat we de woning in dezelfde staat hadden achtergelaten als waarin we hem hadden ontvangen. Ik zou deze plek zeker aanraden.

The disgusting behavior of money-hungry criminals who steal deposits from vulnerable students at all costs. They enter your home without prior consent from all tenants and completely dismantle everything by throwing things on the ground. They find any excuse to steal your money, for example a bit of limescale inside the kettle. Stay at all costs away from these scoundrels.

Simply the worst brokerage agency there is. They only care about money and they do everything to ensure you don't get your deposit back. The 'lady' who came to inspect the house on the departure date removed all extra plates, pans, pots, cutlery, dishes etc. from the cupboards and threw them in a pile in the middle of the floor. She was incredibly rude and it was obvious that she had no intention of returning any of the deposit, even before she went inside. You're really better off being homeless than dealing with these scammers.

De communicatie met dit bedrijf is rampzalig geweest. Ik had altijd het gevoel dat ze me niet echt vertrouwden, zelfs niet toen ik me strikt aan hun regels hield. Er was altijd al een probleem van wantrouwen dat groeide en wederzijds werd zodra er geld in het spel kwam. Ik vroeg alleen maar om een ​​duidelijke uitleg van de verstuurde facturen, omdat ze die standaard per post verstuurden alsof je bij de slager stond. Kom op zeg! Wat ik versta onder een goede verhuurservice is goede communicatie tussen de partijen, eerlijkheid, respect, dingen niet als vanzelfsprekend beschouwen, en een gedetailleerde uitleg van de voorwaarden bij het in rekening brengen van diensten... Veel vragen die ik beantwoord wil hebben, blijven onbeantwoord. Misschien ligt het aan mij, maar als ik een appartement huur, kan ik niet tegen miscommunicatie en oneerlijkheid.

Ik ben erg teleurgesteld over de behandeling en communicatie met dit bedrijf. Ik voelde me altijd in de steek gelaten als er iets gebeurde in een huis dat ik deelde met drie andere huurders. Verwacht niet dat beloftes worden nagekomen en onthoud: als je ooit een ruimte van hen huurt, doe dan niet zelf de schoonmaak. Je krijgt sowieso de schoonmaakkosten in rekening gebracht. Het is jammer dat zo'n mooie stad als Enschede en het verblijf daar overschaduwd zijn door zo'n vreselijke ervaring.

I only care about money. They don't respect you after they have taken your money and made a contract with them. One day they came into my room while I was sleeping without informing me beforehand, which I think is a violation of the law.

This is really a bad housing corporation! They lied to us, said nothing about the costs for months, and suddenly we had to pay a significant amount within a few days. They really don't care about their customers. They are late on the agreed dates and do not reply to your emails. Now we're living in one of their houses, there were problems with the city hall because they hadn't put it in their name with the correct number of people. There are also a lot of problems with the house, which they promise to solve but never do... A lot of things like that. If you have a choice, NEVER CHOOSE THIS COMPANY. It's just misery!
