I wish there were a review with 0 stars, these are criminals. You're better off homeless than dealing with these people. They will make sure you don't get your deposit back (they will probably make you pay extra).

I had been looking for an apartment in Enschede for a few months already before the summer. I contacted several real estate agencies that were terrible in terms of responsiveness, transparency, respect for their clients, etc. The two ladies at Twents Vast, however, were completely different. First of all, they show you respect as a person through the way they speak and act. It was very easy to make an appointment to view and we rented the apartment that we saw. There were a few technical problems with the apartment because it was a bit old. Anne, however, was very helpful and quick to resolve all these issues. She even followed up to see if the technician showed up to fix the problem or not. Enschede is a university town with many students and a limited number of homes, making it a major challenge and stress for many people to rent an apartment. There are many real estate agencies that act as if they're doing someone a favor by doing their job and have no understanding of customer service (you can read my other review for another real estate agency). Based on my positive experiences, I highly recommend landlords and tenants to work with them. Supplement June 2024: We had to leave the apartment since the contract was for 2 years. Check-out experience was also pleasant. We left the apartment tidy. The apartment was very old, so they weren't sure if many defects were caused by us, but the video I recorded when we moved in two years ago helped enormously. After our move, they refunded the deposit immediately.

Studio used as temporary living space, fully furnished including refrigerator and use of a washing machine and all the necessities you need to get through the day.

Due to work in Twente, I rented a studio for a long time on the Wierdensestraat in Almelo. It turned out very well. The layout of the studio is perfect, everything you need is there. If something happens, it's quickly resolved by TwentsVast. Emails and phone calls are responded to very quickly and correctly. Your privacy is respected; if something needs to happen in your studio, permission is always requested. The 'check out' process was also fine. Should I ever have to be in Twente for work again for a longer period of time, I will definitely rent here again.

Very satisfied with the treatment we received from Anne. She was very attentive, clear and helpful in solving any maintenance problems in the apartment and answered our questions about the service. The apartment that we rented was very well located and the furniture was in very good condition.

Excellent and efficient service from this agency. Everything is clear and they always contact you, regardless of the problem you have. A highlight is that the locations and furniture of the rental agreements are in good condition. In the Enschede area, it is undoubtedly an option to consider!

I stayed in one of the studios for a total of 6 months due to an internship in the vicinity of Almelo and I was very satisfied! The room is large enough for one person, is modernly furnished, has a great location, and is fully equipped. It's perfect if you need a place to stay for a few months or if you need time to find something for the long term. Moreover, it is located right above a gym, which was a big plus for me. I also met great people while living there, who eventually became good friends of mine. If I had any small problems, communication wasn't a problem at all. Carolijn was always very friendly and quick to help. I would absolutely recommend this place! ☺️ As someone who came to Almelo and didn't know anyone, I can say that Twents Vast B.V. made my start very easy.

The apartment we used was excellent, everything was clean and functioned perfectly. They really make sure that everything is well maintained. Praise!

If you want to stay somewhere for a few months, this is the place I recommend. It was very convenient and also very comfortable for me. Small studio, but if you're alone, this is exactly what you need. In my time, I had no problems anywhere.

No complaints. I stayed for 6 months due to an internship near Almelo. The company handles everything very professionally, the rooms are well furnished, the location is really strategic, the facilities are good, and so on. The rent itself is reasonably affordable, but considering the size of the room, I think it's a reasonable fair price for the Netherlands. Also a big plus is the communication and transparency. All in all, a pleasure to work with!

Friendly staff, but it was very dirty when we entered the house and when we reported something was broken; the excuse was that it's an old house. The toilet was blocked for a few weeks before they repaired it and we had a very old washing machine which also had some problems, it took a long time before we got help and had it replaced.

I only have good things to say about this agency! I rented a two-bedroom apartment in Enschede for 26 months while working in Almelo and never had any problems. Once, there was an issue with the key to the front door, and it was quickly and efficiently resolved after I contacted them. Just as a reminder: inspections with advance notice are also carried out, but this too went well. During my time living at the address, I had several roommates, and it was also no problem to modify the rental agreement upon request. All in all, I was happy with the service provided.

We rented a studio from TwentsVast in Almelo for about a year. It was a beautiful, compact, fully furnished place. During our stay, we received all the necessary help from Carlijn & Anne. The check-in and check-out process went smoothly. If you really clean the studio when you move out, they will not charge any costs. In our case, we received the entire deposit amount. The only disappointment with the Studio was that it did not have a building/apartment bell. As a result, we missed many package deliveries. Apart from this small problem, we had a good experience and I would highly recommend them.

I rented a studio for six months. The studio was beautiful and clean. Small problems were quickly resolved. They received my recommendation!

The worst brokerage agency I have ever dealt with. The two ladies are very unprofessional and do not speak kindly. They always try to take your money, and when checking out, I am 100% certain that you will not get your full deposit back because they always find something. I had to pay more than 200 euros because they let a cleaning company clean the house for 5 hours, which resulted in an invoice I had to pay. The cleaning company they hire is also nearby in Enschede. Food for thought! I am not someone who writes reviews, but most people encounter these kinds of people when they come to the Netherlands for the first time and this is what they will experience. It's not very welcoming and very demotivating (for students coming to study in the Netherlands). I hope they work on their customer service and try to be friendlier towards staff. We are all people trying to do better.

The organization doesn't really help when problems arise

The best option if you need to stay in Almelo! They are professionals!

Together with my fiance, we rented the studio on Wierdensestraat in Almelo for approximately 8 months. The studio was sufficiently furnished for a modern couple to live and relax after a workday. The property manager was friendly and professional in correspondence and regarding any issues with the apartment (replacing a light bulb, etc.). Despite the fact that the sofa was damaged by the sun and the high temperature in summer (it gets quite stuffy), the property manager understood that a lot of wear and tear can occur in this situation. We would give 5 stars, but the location of the room and the windows on the side of the nearby train station were rather unpleasant, especially in the summer (noisy). The rooms on the parking lot side would be much quieter. All in all, I recommend the studio to couples or singles looking for temporary accommodation.

I rented the studio on Wierdensestraat in Almelo and was very satisfied with it. I study at the University of Twente and this was the perfect place for me. The studio was fully furnished and the location was excellent. The train station was directly across the street and the supermarket was less than 15 minutes walking distance away. This studio is perfect for anyone who works or studies in the area around Almelo, Hengelo and Enschede. As for communication with the agency, they were very responsive, professional and courteous. I had no problems with that at all. The only disadvantage was that the contract was only for six months and I was in the middle of the semester. However, they extended it by another six months at my request without any hassle, which was convenient for me, otherwise it would have been a whole job. In short, I am very satisfied with this agency and I would definitely recommend renting from them.

I have tried on multiple occasions during office hours to visit their office, but there was no one there.

The condition of this one room was a nightmare: the cement on the walls is crumbling and other walls are full of holes, which is not according to contract. It's made from a ceiling of insulation material, there’s an illegal lack of window space, and there is no attention to fire safety, again illegally. Furthermore, Twents Vast claims that everything is fine and if I am not satisfied, I must sort it out with my housemates. The room is the worst ever and the service doesn't exist. Do not rent from this company, they will ruin you.

To begin with - I have no idea where all those negative reviews are coming from. I don't deny their sincerity, but my experience with Twents Vast was simply very good. The communication with their agents always went smoothly and quickly, and everyone I contacted spoke excellent English (although that’s not a surprise in the Netherlands). I just found them to be professional and friendly people who worked there. As a student, I rented a house on Esstraat for 5 months (with two other friends) - reasonably furnished, clean and quite practical with a backyard (and shed!). The price was very acceptable - as far as I could see, it didn't really differ from other comparable houses in Enschede, so I have no complaints about that either. Regarding the other reviews: I haven’t had any unexpected visits. It is also important to mention that I received my full deposit back. I can wholeheartedly recommend that real estate agency because my experience was simply trouble-free and smooth.

When we first arrived in the Netherlands, we were looking for various rental companies to rent a home. Anne and Carljin helped us enormously with quickly renting a house. The process went smoothly and we could move in after only one day. The check-out process also went quickly and easily. We received the deposit back because we wanted to leave the house as we had received it. I can definitely recommend this property.

Despicable behavior of money-grabbing criminals, who steal money from vulnerable students at all costs. They enter your home without prior consent from all tenants and tear the property apart, throwing things on the floor. They will find every excuse to keep your money, e.g., a little limescale inside a kettle. Stay away from these scammers at all costs.

Simply the worst brokerage agency there is. They only care about money and they do everything to ensure you don't get your deposit back. The 'lady' who came to inspect the house on the departure date removed all extra plates, pans, pots, cutlery, dishes etc. from the cupboards and threw them in a pile in the middle of the floor. She was incredibly rude and it was obvious that she had no intention of returning any of the deposit, even before she went inside. You're really better off being homeless than dealing with these scammers.

The communication with this company has been disastrous. I always felt that they didn't really trust me, even when they adhered strictly to their rules. There was always an issue of distrust that grew and became mutual when money came in. I simply asked for a good explanation of the sent invoices, because normally they were mailed as if you were at the butcher shop. Come on!! What I understand from a good rental service is good communication between the parties, honesty, respect, don't take things for granted, and a detailed explanation of the terms when charging services... There are still many questions that I would like to have answered. Perhaps that was also the case with me, but if I rent an apartment, I cannot deal with miscommunication and dishonesty.

Really disappointed with the treatment and communication with this company. I always felt blamed when something happened in a house that I shared with three other tenants. Don't expect promises to be kept and remember: if you ever rent a space from them, don't do the cleaning yourself. You will incur cleaning costs anyway. It’s a shame that such a beautiful city as Enschede and the rest of the city are spoiled by such a bad experience.

It's only about money. They won't respect you after they've taken your money and signed a contract with them. They came into my room one day while I was sleeping without notifying me beforehand, which I believe is a legal violation.

With good consultation, much is possible. Spontaneous, but also businesslike in the right way.

Don't rent anything through this agency. They won't help you if you have problems with the landlord or the property you rented; they are only interested in your money.

This really is a bad housing company! They lied to us, they kept the costs silent for months and suddenly we had to pay large amounts within a few days. They don't really care about their customers. They are late on agreed dates and do not answer your emails. Now that we live in one of their houses, there were problems with the town hall because they hadn't registered it with the correct number of people. There are also many problems in the house, which they say they will solve, but they never do.... Many things like that. If you have a choice, NEVER CHOOSE THIS COMPANY. It is just a problem!
