The owner of this company is fine, but her staff are not well trained and generally the practices are substandard for international clients. The staff are not used to thinking out of the box, they prefer the standard Dutch situation with a wage earner and a mortgage. If your situation is something different, you will have problems. For example, if your financing comes from abroad and/or you have already arranged your own financing (no mortgage), they will panic and demand to see your Facebook or Linked In profile, without which they will advise the seller not to accept your offer! In other words, while in other parts of the world you are cheered because you have your dollar ducks in a row and you are treated as a VIP client, it's not like that in the Netherlands and not here, but instead you are treated like a 3rd class client or a criminal suspect. In my case, because another offer had already been made on the property I liked, several employees reluctantly told me that I have the right to make an offer, but they don’t really like it...
