From the moment we received the message that he was accepted at the University of Utrecht (January-February), we started looking for accommodation for our son. I have used all available resources online that were advised to us (various websites that all ask registration fees, FB groups, possibilities for student housing at the university) and also hired a real estate agent who helps Hungarian students in the Netherlands. I have been paying costs alone for six months without any result. The last week before the university started, we decided to travel to Utrecht to personally resolve the problem.
