I would recommend Punt 100% if you want to buy a house in Utrecht! Because they are slightly larger than the other offices, they are flexible with scheduling viewings and ensure that you can attend, which meant that we had a house in 6 weeks, for a good price. Bas also helped us excellently afterwards with some setbacks after the purchase, much more than we expected since the sale was already finalized. Bas & Punt really stood by our side throughout - which saves a lot of worries when you buy your first home. A real estate agent is not cheap, but without Punt it would have cost us much more. We sold our house through Punt Makelaars. As soon as the assignment is received, communication becomes incredibly messy. After a day of viewings, you are not called and we had to inquire about the progress ourselves. We were also not involved in planning the structural inspection and the final inspection. You also don't get a fixed realtor; we dealt with a total of 3 realtors. This leads to internal miscommunication because one of the realtors hadn't passed on the second-highest bid for our house to the other realtor before going away for the weekend. We pay an awful lot of money for their services, but mainly we get the feeling that they are sitting back because a house in Utrecht will sell anyway. A shame.

Really a bad experience with them. We lived as tenants in the house that Punt Makelaars sold. We had to accept viewings of potential buyers, but because it was corona time, we worked from home, so we asked if the viewings could take place outside our working hours. From the first moment it was clear that they didn't care about bothering us at any time. They showed no flexibility and insisted on viewing the apartment at any time, while only letting us know a few hours in advance. They were very rude to us throughout. We didn't sell our house, but if you are selling yours and you don't want the tenants to get angry (because that only complicates matters), choose another real estate agent.

It doesn't seem clear to this office that buyers also need to work and therefore require some flexibility in appointment times for a viewing. If that doesn't happen immediately, they say they will 'call you next week if it hasn't been sold yet'. Quite strange, but that’s not all: after the potential buyer has rescheduled appointments to adapt to the real estate agent / seller's agenda, he is still cancelled because the house has already been sold! How can you, as a real estate agent, advise your client to close a deal when not all candidates have seen it? Maybe the potential buyer who is being excluded like this would have been willing to offer a better price and/or conditions! And finally: when you want to talk to the relevant real estate agent, he doesn't even call you back.

Dissatisfied with this realtor. Reason: 1. Including too many meters (5%) in the sales brochure (covered by the wording 'no rights can be derived from the data') 2. Charging for the costs of splitting a plot of land from a housing corporation. Once the plot is split, the bill has already been paid by the housing corporation. The payment for those costs should then be included in the house price. In this case, the realtor put the costs extra on the account.
