Poor communication and does not keep appointments.
Bad experience with handover (both times) and also the contact is extremely difficult. Upon receiving the keys, agreements were not kept. A professional cleaning was supposed to take place, but there were still food remnants on the floor, mold in the refrigerator and bathroom, and leftover food in cupboards. The installer for the central heating boiler came for the annual inspection, pointed out that these boilers are incredibly dangerous and advised replacing them. This was reported, but nothing was done about it. They were even contradicted. When handing over the apartment, a deposit is withheld without a legally valid reason. To this day, no proof of 'damage incurred' has been seen. A bad experience in every area, a shame because the apartment was very pleasant to live in.
Really don't go into business with them, not a nice broker! Totally no pleasant experience with them, sluggish contact and doesn't keep appointments.

After having a viewing with an older lady, they let us know that we would be selected as tenants of the house, we just needed to submit some documents for this. We were well above the minimum income threshold, however I was called by the lady who stated that it would no longer go ahead because my girlfriend worked for an Irish company and this was 'difficult to verify'. I had already clearly indicated this in a previous conversation so the confusion surprised me somewhat. Despite offering to provide more evidence, she stuck to her position, leading me to suspect that this judgment is based more on xenophobia than on reasonable caution. In addition, she stated that my temporary contract is insufficient, despite this being the current practice of most government organizations and large companies. Since the introduction of the Wet Arbeidsmarkt in Balans (WAB), the difference between a 'permanent' contract and a temporary contract is negligible. Her conclusion was however that we are not allowed to undergo the independent income test and that it would therefore be handled based on her subjective and somewhat short-sighted knowledge of the matter. She had also discussed this with the landlord who apparently can read an email and several documents within a few minutes, and then form an opinion about them within the same timeframe. In short, our money is therefore dirtier than that of other people and we were retroactively pleased with a dead mouse. I would avoid this company both as a tenant and as a landlord.

After a phone call with Desegno, where they immediately asked about my income in a gruff manner, a viewing was scheduled for a property. Once arrived at the property, it turned out to be a friendly person. In addition to that day with viewings, they wanted more days with viewings and also wanted to place the house on various websites afterwards. I asked her if I would even hear anything then. Yes, we will let you know by the end of next week at the latest, she stated. I never heard back from them. So they don't keep their appointments. No positive experience.
Pleased with our Appraisal in December 2017. Very friendly woman and gave clear advice and justification regarding the structure.
Viewing requested via Funda. No response. Subsequently contacted via the website. Immediately called back by an unfriendly lady who didn't bother to greet, but immediately started saying that they don't respond to viewing requests via Funda, because 'they get hundreds of emails and if they call people back, they don't pick up their phone'... It turns out, of course, that the property is already almost rented (under option), which they naturally do not mention on the site or on Funda. The lady asks what I am looking for and (immediately) whether I can meet the income test. Then I politely said goodbye and hung up, because this was really too much for me. :)
