It often takes a while before repairs are carried out. Sometimes also depending on the stock of materials. Sander has been to my apartment several times for the ventilation system that isn't working properly, he takes his time and investigates what is wrong. Gives a clear explanation, excellent service!
We are very pleased with the way things are going within this real estate institution. Our son was looking for student accommodation and he registered on several expensive sites. He responded everywhere but never received a message back. Not even when he reacted to a studio via Funda with a private realtor. Zero reaction. Very frustrating. Still registered with another site: Campus Groningen. Cheapest so far. Scored a viewing the first day and hit the jackpot right away. Completely renovated little studio in the middle of town. Very small but super cute and fantastic location. Very pricey, though. But absolutely affordable with housing allowance luckily. Johannes was our rental realtor. Nice, quick guy who responds quickly. Viewing on Friday, message on Wednesday and pick up the keys on Monday. Meanwhile, he has already moved and settled in. Our son is ready for his adventure in Groningen thanks to his registration at Campus Groningen. Highly recommended. Once registered, you do need to invest some serious time checking the offerings. If a viewing date is mentioned, the viewing is fully booked within 3 minutes. But if you sit on the couch with a pot of tea for an afternoon, it will work out fine. We scored 3 in 2 days but luckily the first one was a hit!
I had a very good experience with Groningse Panden. After living in a student house for years, I was ready for something new. It was a difficult search to find a nice and pleasant place for myself, until I got in contact with Johannes Korten. In a conversation with him, I discussed my wishes and he looked at all the possibilities. He did his best to find something that suited me. We then ended up with my current home. He scheduled a viewing for me and I was immediately very enthusiastic. It is a beautifully renovated apartment. In October 2024, a leak was discovered in the property, which ran under the house/floor. Thanks to the skilled expertise of their permanent fitter Mr. S., this leak was traced, identified and resolved. A hole was sawn through the laminate flooring and underlayment to access the relevant pipes. After this leak was repaired and the underlayment had dried out, the fitter neatly provided the entire hallway with a closed hole, new underlayment and laminate with skirting boards. Everything restored to its original condition! By mid-March 2025, the floor looked as good as new! Absolutely top and resolved to our satisfaction. Some points of feedback are the speed at which the problem was ultimately resolved to full satisfaction and the interim communication towards me could be better. Mr. M
I advise against renting from Groningse Panden! abnormal course of events, poor communication and unpleasant living. Moreover, you pay too much rent legally, which you then have to pursue yourself with the rental committee to get your money back (money that Groningse Panden asks too much for the rental).

I cannot give a lower rating. Just look at their Sugar Homes project, how it burned down, and so on. There are many complaints about repairs and deposits. As everyone says, they are taking advantage of the housing shortage. I was personally blackmailed by Henk, the so-called manager of Sugar Homes (with false photos of the condition of the property, and so on). Please do not rent from them and avoid Sugar Homes. I am not part of or have any connection with another rental company; I want people to not have to go through this terrible process.

The worst experience I've ever had as a tenant. I hope my path never crosses with them again. Don't trust them and do everything you can to protect yourself as a tenant. They don't care about your royal rights and only protect the landlords.
Groningen properties has a points savings system, but without years of waiting. All the houses I viewed were very neat and there was also a lot of new construction. In a short period, I found a beautiful apartment here without brokerage or other unexpected costs.
Great service with a personal approach. They always respond quickly when I have a question. In addition, they come up with a solution quickly or repairs are carried out promptly on items that require maintenance.
Service is bad, you always have to wait a very long time and you are often simply ignored. No responses to emails I send and when you call you are redirected to email. Very annoying, you constantly run into a closed door. Having to wait 3 months for repair of a leak despite multiple calls etc.
