Please note the number of square meters you are purchasing! Hopma was the selling real estate agent of our old house in 2016 in Groningen. We bought that property under the assumption that it contained 90m2 of living space. When we sold our house, we discovered that the house was considerably smaller. It's not a small margin but almost 15 percent less. We therefore did not receive the living space we expected and had to adjust our asking price. The selling real estate agent is responsible for the correct data and it is unlawful to list it higher than reality. We raised this issue by email with Hopma. The only response was a congratulation on the beautiful result of the sale of our house and that it would go to the insurance company. After some back-and-forth contact, the insurer takes the position that we have not suffered any damage. This dispute is still ongoing and will post an update with the outcome. To date, there has not even been an apology and communication is difficult. Update 09-03-2021: Ultimately, after involving a lawyer, a settlement was reached for the dispute. Added a star because we still managed to resolve it
