Very unprofessional approach. I had a viewing planned. According to Stegenga, there was little interest and the appointment could not be rescheduled, so I adjusted to their schedule. On the day of the viewing, however, I was called that the property had already been sold. While there was simply an appointment scheduled. I find this very careless and not neat. Appointments should be followed up on or at least communicated in a timely and transparent manner if the situation changes. Not a pleasant experience.

This assessment is based primarily on feeling and a single actual fact. I think the real estate agent is well informed about the market. The intake interview at our home gave us a good feeling about how he would proceed. Enthusiastic and pragmatic. I want to buy a house. I'll call the real estate agent who is best known in Harlingen and surrounding areas and with whom I have also had excellent experiences before. Response from Stegenga when I call for an appointment: 'Just look on Funda yourself, and if you find something, then you can call us to come and negotiate.' Search requests? 'No, we can't do that anymore because we no longer receive properties forwarded from other real estate agents.' Uhm, this NVM real estate agent can, just like any other NVM real estate agent in the NVM database, search for properties and mediate them even before they appear on Funda. No, not so according to Stegenga. I understand it, busy busy busy, but say that instead of lying. Of course, Stegenga is doing well in the current overheated housing market, but this will not be forgotten when times change. Then I'll go to another one too.
