After much deliberation, here's a review. We bought 2 houses and sold 1 through Van Vulpen. The purchase of our second house via Sjors went smoothly. The purchase of our first house via Antoinette was very stressful and an unpleasant way of communicating. We thought that would be an advantage for the sale of that same house because she was extremely on top of things, among other things. Unfortunately, we quickly regretted choosing her. The tone of voice, the demanding nature, the speed at which everything had to happen while we weren't in a hurry, the lack of legal knowledge while the contracts are templates, not being open to other insights (e.g., the photos), suddenly 2 square meters less surface area while they themselves had measured it previously, etc. I really fell off my chair when she proposed a very low selling price while demand was enormous and similar houses in the neighborhood were being bought for a ton (!!!!) more. It was called strategy... We increased the selling price somewhat and there was huge demand but.. yes, it sold quickly and yes the price isn't bad but still significantly below the selling prices of similar houses around us. It wasn’t a fixer-upper, the m2 was comparable, etc. To this day I absolutely don't feel that everything possible has been done and we have therefore missed out on a nice amount… A professional completion (flowers, etc.) was also not present. Apart from that, there was never an apology for anything, madam knew better, felt she was always right and lecturing us wasn’t a problem for her either. All in all, a very, very unpleasant, exhausting experience that still hurts when I look back on it. A shame, they earned a lot of money from us (3 houses!!)… The real estate agency is fine but Antoinette absolutely not.
